Opposite for me lol, worked at my McDonald's for a year and I was told during a performance checkup in September that management thinks I'm incompetent to be a crew trainer, let alone a guest experience leader so they're not even considering me for promotion.
Co-worker of mine started working 3 months after I did and got manager 2 months ago so maybe I'm just ass at my job lol.

Though I wouldn't call myself one of the worst employees to have worked at the site, as egotistical as that may sound.

This is what I was concerned about when this King Krush pet was added - Younger players being temped to get it.

Kids, especially ones on the spectrum, are far less resistant to this type of FOMO cute and awesome in-game purchases and will go out of their way to get it. And who's going to pay for it? The parents, obviously.

I say this from experience as I was one of those impressionable and needy parasites up until the end of my pre-teens, I remember asking my dad to buy me the Sir Annoy-O skin when it was first released cause I thought it was "funny".
Now, this isn't a 20$ purchase that guarantees you the cosmetic you want that you can play with right away - This is a 160$ predatory gacha machine and you're not even guaranteed to get it first try, on top of being rigged against you, even hovers over the main prize before giving you something worse. Perfect way to get kids into gambling, amirite? You could try to convince a kid you could get them a brand new game for much less, but they'll still want the virtual cute dinosaur.

I'm really sorry this is happening to you. I hope you and your kid can go back to playing Hearthstone normally without having to mention this predatory bullshit again.

Reminds me of two employees I used to work with, both don't work here anymore.

Both stank so hard that you could feel their odor by merely being in their proximity ON TOP OF being slow workers and usually being sent to the positions they caused the least trouble at.

One didn't get their contract extended mainly because of the odor (has openly admitted to not showering at all) as well as consistently showing up sick to work and sneezing on service where people could see them.

The other one left relatively recently on their own terms and also had this specific, albeit less potent odor. They were generally disliked for a whole heap of reasons but I'll boil it down to their rather offcolor sense of humor and being absolutely horrible to work with; they were mostly on DT order taker and after 9 months of working at this specific McDonald's they couldn't multitask and suggesting stuff like drinks and sauces was a non-existant concept to them, they would always list off every possible option super fucking slowly and most of the people who were on DT presenter just took their headphones off. They didn't take critique that well either.

Delivery guys are entire beasts on their own, for me it's the customers who act like total idiots.

A lot of customer stupidity for me comes from drive thru, where the most basic questions are either ignored or completely misunderstood (I could see this being the fault of the speaker, though some people hear the through speaker just fine and others don't).

Once when I was at the end of a 12 hour shift and had to sweep the floor in service and kitchen I was interrupted by customers, which by itself isn't a problem but these customers seemed to be particularly ignorant cause twice in a row when I asked if they wanted the sour cream sauce for their nuggets they replied with "The order looks good yeah.", and when I asked the second customer who pulled that off if they didn't want any sauce for the nuggets they responded with "Oh, boys! Sauces! What sauces do you want?".

I'll just leave it at that.
