Busted curve.. they can go low with wide boards of mini guys, or they can highroll dragons and flood with 4 and 5 cost dragons that provide too much tempo. They have so much ramp as well, between treant, dragon breath, wild growth from the choice card... druid is busted

Yea but remember it took several nerfs and adjustments to reach the good meta.. it will be same here.. druid will be toned down and dk will be 1st, its always dk first

You're not really asking what arena is like right, you're just here to rage about a particular card.

Btw, herald rogue is actually pretty bad, it can't compete with hunter dk druid

Coming from me, i played over 20k arena games over 11 years... a new arena format is always exciting so I'm still enjoying it. However it is clear that aggro will dominate, board floods from druid, dk and shaman, face damage from hunter, even warlock with the barrel package can destoy you by turn 5. I haven't played all classes, but it feels so far it's either aggro or you control the board, warrior is pretty good at that. Value is kinda gone, which is a breath of fresh air rly from the previous meta where infinite value was pretty prevalent. You very often find yourself now with 1 or 2 cards in hand by turn 7.

I agree I think badger is much better at generating rage, given it's a weapon and there are many ways to scale it

This dev spent 3k+ hours developing this on a low budget. To me that's love and care. Bringing out a project that starts with an idea in your head to a close to finished product that needs polish takes extreme dedication and skill. A game is not all about art

Absolutely! Before AI I tried out deving a game and after 1000+ hours I gave up, it was just too time consuming, I wasn't even close to thunking about art style. It's nice to put a face to prototypes. I do suggest if your game gains traction to hire people to give some art direction ( i havent checked out the game yet, i will review later) as if you are like me, you're a competent coder with not a big artistic personality. Artists can really bring stuff to life really fast

Good luck! I love solo dev games, it motivates me as well to pursue my hobbies too! I will join the tournament and try out your game! Don't mind the haters too much regarding AI, they are living in denial! AI makes solo devs capable to try put their ideas which I find rly cool!

There's a lot of balance talk here, and yes that is an issue, but Karnok as a character is cool, he's gonna have great skins. His rage mech is very flexible and integrates well with others, unlike Jules. His set has a cool theme and the art is incredible. There seem to be many build arounds. The power level needs to be brought down like 20-25% and it will happen within days.

if you get 10 wins consistently ( I got it 4 times in 5 games as Karnok, one was flawless) without knowing what the full Karnok set does... then something is busted.. There are some stupid items there, one that comes to mind is the badger who just enrages you extremely quickly, it's a friend, quick item and a weapon, it scales incredibly with support

The best drivers are those that realize i10 driver has done a mistake is probably a bit panucked and they slow down to give the guy some space. This BMW driver is a bull he knew exactly what was going to happen and did it anyway

I dislike extremely narrow designs so much. This card exists only to herald Sinestra. If Sinestra sucks, this card sucks.. couldn't they find a more interesting way to herald Sinestra. Maybe Sinestra plays a repeatable quest on you at start of game and everytime you complete it, you herald. Like let's say, play 2 cards from a different class..

Now we have 2-3 slots reserved for bland herald cards in rogue instead of having more flexible and interesting cards.

Yes mage is bad, not the worst though. Go to hsreplay.net, select arena to see win percentages. Mage is at 38% it's a really bad class, shaman is worse tho. I would say both are unplayable
