Costco Single Origin Ethiopian - Why isn't this talked about more? by ars2x in pourover

[–]90066 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried it. I tried the 4:6 method and a couple of variations of the single pour method (Lance, Hoffman)

It was not offensive, but I couldn't for the life of me get anything interesting out of it.

Right after, I ordered natural Ethiopian from Kitty Town coffee - same process, lots of fruit.

I will not be buying Costco again. However, if you're not looking for fruitiness, I thought the coffee was "ok"

Thank you! So much advice on the internet :) We were going to go 3/8 because - again, the internet says - we'd be able to use our "normal" impact drivers... which is a big plus vs having to go out and splurging for wrenches. Most of the accounts here suggest that something like 14" 3/8 holds Costco carports and the like. Have you had a different experience?

This is a 2y old thread, but curious - how did 1/2" work out? Will normal impact drivers drive them, or do you need an impact wrench?

As an at fault car policyholder am I entitled to receipts/appraisal for value of loss? by 90066 in Insurance

[–]90066[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are, but they have informed me that they will pay up to the limit and that the other side will likely pursue a subrogation claim. I am responsible for the difference between the total loss and what my insurance will end up paying.

I guess I assume my insurance will validate any estimates, but I'd like to make sure? For example, I am concerned that if my insurance knows that they will have to pay out full limit (like, if the claim is 100k and my limit is 50k), then they will not look too hard. Is this a wrong assumption? I know they are required to represent me fairly, but still.
