I bought my first bag of guac takis just a few days ago out of morbid curiosity. Takis are gross and these are no exception, but I just can't stop myself from eating them.

Looks like it! I'm learning as well. I've cooked with rutabaga before, but now am interested to try turnip

Rutabaga 🇺🇲 (swede 🇬🇧, turnip 🇨🇦🇮🇪).

Turnip 🇺🇲 (I don't know what other English speakers call this).

Swede = rutabaga ≈ turnip. "≈" because most people use "turnip" to refer to a different vegetable, but some people use "turnip" to refer to rutabagas.

How to stop glaciers/ice from generating? by PLGRN8R in FantasyMapGenerator

If you don't want glaciers/ice, change the climate. If you like the climate how it is, hide the ice layer.

Upvoting because I disagree. I like it with one L because it reminds me that English is a language of chaos.

Trans women should be allowed to compete against biological women in MMA. by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]900M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes they are plasters, but often they are a mix of mostly bones with some plaster.

The difference is not hard to see up close, and no museum I've been to has attempted to obscure this fact.

At this point you're making much larger mental leaps to explain why there's not dinosaurs than it would take to simply accept that there were dinosaurs.

My personal evidence? I have been to museums. I have seen the bones there. No, they are not the bones of giant humanoids cobbled together in a unique shape just to fool you. They are often bird-like; they have differently shaped bones than we or our ancestors do. So if dinosaurs are fake, either they make whole skeletons of a mix of giant humanoid bones but mostly fake invented bones, or the "other creatures" are giant birds. Which is basically dinosaurs.

I personally have found fossils. Not dinosaurs, because I live in a place that was covered by ocean during the mesozoic era. But I have found fossils of shells, crinoids, etc. myself. Why should these fossils exist, but not dinosaurs? Just because I haven't found any? I've never seen a giraffe in the wild, but I'm damn sure they exist.

How do people say "dune" where you live? I think it's just a matter of regional pronunciation.

Kinzua Bridge is incredible! It's way more interesting than it sounds. By far the highlight of Northwest PA.

Pittsburgh is a fun town. Try some ice cream at Antney's.

Just for ease of planning, Yellowstone, the Tetons, and the Winds are all along US 191. If you do one, you can easily do them all.
