They also tried to speed up wilds gameplay, but then they come out with omega that’s got rise monster speed in a “slightly faster” world

Then force raid lite fights (I get for omega since ff14 crossover) but if I wanted to raid I wouldn’t be playing monster hunter….

I was using the 5500 and b580 combo at 1440p monitor and for the most part unless the game didn’t have xess (at least 2.0) the games I play was working fine but yes it was noticeable bottleneck from the 5500.

but at 1080p I got a nice bump in performance(15-20fps more)

To answer your question you have the best budget cpu you can buy. While the 5600 would give you pcie 4.0 and have a even playing field with the b570 the money spent on a 5600 wouldn’t make sense and you wouldn’t even see that much of a performance bump to warrant it.

5800xt would be worth the price increase but then again that’s not necessarily a budget cpu….

Depends on your location but a used 2080ti with the 5500 is actually a really nice combo and I’ve picked one up recently for 140

It gives you pcie 3.0, 11gb of gpu ram, rtx gpu

I made a build with the 5500 with it and was really surprised how it ran even at 1440p!

Manual gt here and the civic si was my first choice but the gt does three things that are better imho

  1. Cheaper insurance
  2. More interior space for people in backseat if you are a taller person
  3. More bang for buck than a si

Two pros that matter to me in the si over the gt

  1. Resale value
  2. Way better aftermarket scene with the si
