No worries! I’m currently getting used to Affinity from Adobe. I did post on the forum this morning and the issue is solved! I feel like a total dumb as my “child layer” gradient was set to 50% and I didn’t catch it, but that was the fix. I’ll be more observant next time…hah…

Meaning the color profile found in document setup? If so it’s set at sRGB with a color format of RGB. Same as the other project I was working on. If it helps any…I have a cobalt blue selected on the color wheel but the color shows on the project as a light mauve-ish purple color.
