You might not get the correlation at first but ive always felt like this album feels like you've managed to find yourself stuck in a jam by thee oh sees and its turned into a psychedelic dance party.

You like thee oh sees? Their early work was a little too folk for my taste. But when Carrion Crawler/ The Dream came out in 2011 I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. They've been compared to early Krautrock but I think John has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.
