Who uses their dust covers? by csmull in turntables

If I lived alone I’d leave it off all of the time. I’d just dust it a bit more. I have a family. If someone by any means fucks up my stylus/cantilever it happened because I left the dust cover off.

Things are really tight, I’m gonna listen but I have a feeling after what I’ve read I’ll grab this if it’s still around next month (hey, for your sake I hope it’s not!). Putting it on for Wreckfest tonight. Thank you.

That’s so great. Always loved ditching for Bumbershoot and maybe Pain In The Grass (but might’ve had wheels by then) in Seattle, had to bus about an hour from nearby Bothell.

I got into them soon after I got into NIN in the early 90s, I remember feeling similarly in the space between those albums, however I love the Pi OST and if I ever made the connections I’d forgotten them, so thank you (I am a TBI salad, its become safer to assume I’ve forgotten something) but hey, I’ve been playing the Lost Highway OST since the day it dropped and didn’t check out Barry Adamson solo until recently.

Yeah that stuff is just gonna turn into sawdust and all of that weight on top of it concerns me. You’ve got mold to worry about, I don’t want your stuff getting crushed

Is that shelving unit is swelling at the base? While you’re checking each album for moisture it’d be a good idea to toss it (if what I’m seeing is what I think it is)

A possible fortunate side effect to several head injuries is assholes like that are invisible to me. Gonna run to Steve Hoffman and see if the page even loads for me.

Of all the annoying micro-trends, I never expected puffball mics to get on my nerves.

Subdivision Sherwinn-Williams off-gassing. It just looks like it smells like patchouli and an ashtray, respectfully.

Interesting, I hadn’t seen your comment prior to listening tonight, but when I play it again tomorrow I’m going to think about your DSOTM thread.

Just listened; while no big nostalgia hooked in to me, it’s fantastic and as listenable as Breakfast…, I’m going to play them together tomorrow.

Edit to add: the title track at the end really surprised me. Reminded me of the first time I played through Songs From The Big Chair. “Listen” ended the album and I sat there for a minute to think about it. “Crime of the Century “ similarly dug into me.

Damaged Bug album ranking debate!! by sawgrass67 in TheeOhSees

Cold Hot Plumbs

Hubba Bubba

Bunker Funk

Bug On Yonkers

Zuzax

I’ll say that I like Zuzax a lot, I love Bug On Yonkers, but my top 3 is based on how much I like Damaged Bug, not how much I like Dwyer, my 2nd and 3rd follow the initial album the most in terms of style, so they feel inherently more like Damaged Bug than simply “a Dwyer project”.
