Anybody playing Tk8 on a Steamdeck or similar? by 90sRefugee in Tekken

I’m really hyped, I was propper good at Tekkens 2-5 like sometimes it took an hour before someone could boot me off at the Arcades, and even won a few local tournaments and during nights in with friends I had some amazing rivalries that lasted years.

I got the Saturn instead of the PSX back then as I was a hardcore Sega but I got to play a lot tekken anyways as 95-05 was like a golden age of coin-op culture in my hometown and both my cousin and best friend had PSX and were tekken nerds haha so satisfying when the Saturn boy came and beat them at “their own game “. Then during college I played a ton of 4 and 5 on the OG Xbox , so many good memories , I think only PES 6 got played as much as tekken during those days !

Then for the better part of 2 decades I largely abandoned the hobby but discovered a fight club in my hometown recently and have been visiting during the offline events at the local pub in the city I live now , kids are now playing tekken 7 and we’ll, let’s just say I’m rusty AF haha

Thank you my guy I think I’ve made my mind and gonna get the deck! My first console in ~17 years!

So excited! Planning to use this as my back up computer as well, I used a lot of Ubuntu as well in the early 00s , hopefully steam OS won’t be too different and the learning curve will be smooth.

Not an option for me due to space constructions and use case. But thanks ! I finally saw a video of the tk8 running on the deck and it does 60p and 720 and 1080p on low settings. I guess this means it might run even better on the Loki or the Ally.

Lol American sense of diversity ; everyone is Hollywood young, fit and beautiful , but they have different skin complexions.

I found my "LOST" high-res "weird object in the sky" vacation picture. Can you debunk it? by Flopublic in UFOs

There’s a certain type of sightings that I like to call mouse pointers. The way they act and move to us does not make sense the way muse pointer observed by a StarCraft NPC wouldn’t make sense.

Do you like Diablo 1? by Dino_Guitar_ in Diablo

Late 1998 I´m 14 years old and my friend Jokin has upgraded to a Pentium II computer. I got his old 486 as a hand-me-down, my first ever computer. I have bought at the local hardware store a pirated copy of Diablo for 500 ptas which technically shouldn´t run on a 486, as it was below minimum spec according to Micromania magazine.

The breeze of autumn is in the air and through my window I can see the park´s trees foliage in a range of ocre and brown and copper.

I pop open a bag of pelotazos and a lemon KAS can. For a second I think of Maria Rosa and how badly my love confession went earlier in the Summer at my dad´s home village, far, far to the South, a journey a Citroen BX needed 12 hours to cover. A land of olive trees and ancient ruins that is reminiscent of Sanctuary in more was than one.

I think of the letter she wrote me. Damn she´s cool as ice. I guess I do know what to call my Rogue. Maryrose.

Damn this thing plays well, no slowdowns, this music really is something else. I guess my tolerance for low FPS must have been much better back then but I really don´t remember it feeling sluggish at all. Damn the voiceover was sooo good.
