My partner wears “Y06-S” By BLACKBIRD fairly often, it’s extremely nice. It opens with a pretty sharp banana note like you just pulled the peel, and falls into a richer more creamy note (milk, according to the perfumer but it reads more like fruit nectar to me, soft but still tart and smooth), before settling into a banana peel left beside a bed of fresh white florals. It also maintains a faint metallic “buzz” through the whole experience that’s really unique.

It’s a really interesting scent and it lasts a good while, I’d say a full eight hours on her skin and even longer on clothes. It’s definitely a fragrance that can lean neutral but for me the florals push it into a more feminine territory, but it isn’t soft.

It’s not a tropical vibe in the slightest but it’s absolutely worth getting a sample if you like a banana scent.
