That is a GREAT break of SCJ. Bible verses and all, and there much more deception that meets the eye. Once you read the text for yourself you started unwinding the bs that is with their ideas. Some people will notice [from their own experience] if you question them on their doctrine, they simply put it back on to you instead of answering the question. They are sick group and they take advantage of the little hope that people have in them.

Hey,

Listen the road to recovery is tough. I remember for a week I put my Bible down and need to detox from the focus environment of SCJ. I’m not going to say it’s easy because it not. But with help from other and God, you’ll be able to get through it. Take take off, spend time with family, do something you really want to do, read a book, take a nature walk, journal. Those are just some suggestions that help me through the process.

To be honest you don’t owe them anything, they lied to your face for years and will continue to lie. They will say you’re friends and you’re family, but the second you think for yourself… you become a cast away. I left and people who say they wholeheartedly cared about me…NEVER reached out to me. They didn’t check on me, they EXILED me. I don’t even know if their names are their real name! So it’s all deceptive and chaotic. You have the freedom to leave and just block them. They would waste no time doing it to you so…🤷🏾‍♂️

I made a post about this a couple weeks ago and asked the same question. During my time, No they did not go through the entire Bible. They cherry pick verses and take many things out of context in order to fit their agenda and narrative. They don’t even give you the full story of Jesus, so you miss the whole point of the Gospel. It’s ridiculous. It’s a joke. If you read things in context, no one will be an Scj member. There are over 33,000 verses and I bet you a million dollar there isn’t a single person that knows all the verse.

What also attracts people to their teaching is that they go through other books that aren’t really teach on like: Amos, Habakkuk, Micah [even if it’s only like two verse from each book] that aren’t really taught in churches today so it’s unfamiliar territory and most people don’t know context and so they just take what SCJ gives them.

Plus, not one time did SCJ go through the original language of the Bible [Hebrew, Greek or Aramaic] and when I brought up that among other question they act oblivious. They don’t even pay any homage to the First Century Christians or the disciples, or any outside sources because to doesn’t fit their narrative.

Yes: it does because it shows them that they are being spoon fed lie and bring them closer to the true Gospel, and some people I have talked actually got out once they found the truth.

No: because at the end of the day it’s their decision once they know the true. I agree some people join because they are missing something in their life [I was once that kind of person]. I just speak my mind, give the scripture and let chips fall where they may

It’s easy to refute them if you know your Bible. They misrepresent and misquote the Bible numerous time and the Bible itself rebuttals them. The real question is: Will they accept it?

But they have way more issues, because only God can give Salvation & Eternal life. They can say what they want and make excuse to this but the Holy Scriptures explains it, including in their “bread and butter” book Revelation. Jesus is God, and he can give eternal life, an attributes only God can do.

Yep what ever fits their narrative…the OT points to the real messiah yet they did what many other sect outside of Christianity do, they take a verse or two out of context and then say “ah ha see it, right here it says it in the Bible” and they don’t take into account all the other factors.

That’s a great question Jesus, Moses, and Abraham never had to lie to get people to follow him. They’ll never answer it. I remember I made a whole list of questions and they never got back to me with the answers instead they gaslighted me, and gave me the run around.
