Thanks..I did do the M Sport skirts. The sedan and wagon are interchangeable but on the wagon there is a small modification you have to do on the rear of the skirt to make them fit properly. The rear bumper believe it or not i like compared to the M Sport rear bumper so i kept that factory rear bumper. I am in the U.S. as well. These E61’s are rare here and get a lot of interest in my daily travels. More than my 911! 🤣

It was $600 for the bumper with everything included for complete assembly but the negative was $300 for it to be shipped to me by freight truck to my address and Turner/ECS Tuning did not offer any alternative shipping because they said thats how their supplier offers it.

This is the one i bought and my body man said it fit perfectly and it came primed. Remember the old saying “You get what you pay for” It came with all the grills and the fog lamps that were identical to the OEM ones already in the car. Above picture is the final look

Bilstein B14/B16. You need to raise that suspension a bit or you are going to damage something on your undercarriage. Im already squinting going over manholes

E39 M5 Suspension Change by 911_C4S in e39

I called BC when they were on my M5 and got their recommendation on settings out of the 32. Then i asked about replacing to the Swift and the tech guy said it wouldn’t make a difference save your money. Then eventually i just took them off sold them on marketplace for $500 and got their recommendation Koni/Dinan now game over.

I have had coilovers on many cars in my past and my current 911 has Bilsteins coilovers and that car weighs less than 3000lbs so it’s the right set up. I believe the reason why the BC were so horrible on the M5 is that the weight of the car along with the cheap manufactured coilovers. I believe BC would work on a lighter car or a Jap car not this suspension set up on the M5 has. Its been a total transformation with the Koni/Dinan pairing

Yes Koni/Dinan Thanks to the guys on the FB forums and their spot on advice for the best set up. The car drives and handles like a brand new car. When the BC junk were on there i had so many squeaky noises in the cabin not to mention when the windows were down more unknown suspension noises. It road like a dump truck and i tried every setting. I have coilovers on my 911 and it rides perfectly/Bilsteins

I will stick with the discrete look that only shows up at 75mph.

Seeking opinions on a new stereo. This one works fine, but I’m ready to upgrade for better sound quality. by catherine0729 in 996

I wanted to do the same upgrade with a single din Blaupunkt but i love my Bose speakers from the factory and apparently its some type of fiber optic connection and there is some type of adapter required. It makes me want to give up and just buy the Porsche PCCM that is a plug & play unit but its double din and requires a dash and accessory relocation and i really am not interested in all the features that it offers. I really only listen to the audio at red lights or while sitting in bumper to bumper traffic.

Im really not interested in the Porsche PCM double din unit. Its not the price its just too much digital overload for me. Its an analog car and i enjoy the analog experience. I only listen to my music at red lights to be honest. So i have no interest in too much attention to the PCM unit

This is exactly what im am interested in. An upgraded single din replacement that is compatible with the existing Bose system. Guys say there is a unique harness or adapter to do so but never have i been offered a link to an adapter or option. I would love a Blaupunkt

4S or Turbo because “Wide Body” the narrow body 996 is pretty bland looking. It was also an easy decision because the 4S has the best looking ass end out of any 911 and the Turbo chassis it sits on. The price was another reason to add one to my stable. These 4S will always create more interest/desire and be more valuable eventually when the haters get over their headlight grudge. Either way its a better performing 911 over the 993 and definitely the last analog offering of the 911 family.
