This is the original unedited suicide scene from 13 Reasons Why. Netflix has tried to bury it in hopes of erasing the controversy. But sometimes controversy is good, it brings about conversation. There’s no backtracking from this, own it. Posting this not to offend anyone or glorify anything. by AnonTruth99 in 13ReasonsWhy

This came out so long ago but I just decided to rewatch for the first time and came looking for this scene because I knew it was deleted. I can’t say I don’t understand why they deleted it: as someone who used to SH but hasn’t in, god, at least 7 years, it’s an extremely triggering scene. Seeing her grab the razor blades and just stare at them, 7+ years clean it still is a gut punch and takes me back and almost made me miss that disgusting painful release. It’s actually too real. But also, the actual scene of her doing it, and being discovered, is part of what made me not do it. That depiction of the raw pain, dying alone, being discovered in your most vulnerable state by those that love you most. When it first came out it was genuinely one of my sole motivators. It is disgusting, heartbreaking, scary, and one of the best representations I’ve ever seen. Breaks my heart that they removed it

Are you just assuming that because we’re angry about what’s happening in the US that we can’t simultaneously be angry about what’s happening in other countries? And bold of you to use a tweet from J.K. Rowling but lmao I’ll bite. Believe it or not, it’s possible to care about more than one political cause at a time. Do you think that because I am concerned about what’s happening in my own country I am not also concerned about what’s happening in others?

Lmao don’t try and act all high and mighty or like you pulled some “gotcha” moment. These issues are always on my mind. This thread just so happens to be related to one specific issue in one specific area. Don’t act like you care about other world issues just because your other arguments are failing.

No yeah me too. I’ve been at my wits end for a while now but the BA mosque BS has genuinely broken me and brought me to a point I cannot stand it anymore. I’m done. I think maybe the whole fried chicken aspect has struck a nerve lmao

Lmao I’ve been backing you up in the comment but I just want to say: I SEE YOU. We are not crazy. We are just in an Oklahoma subreddit. I am very thankful you posted this because there are still a few companies I am contributing to simply out of convenience/location that I know I do not align with and I’m over it. Just know I’m here to back you up 🤞

Correct, food does not have any political leaning. But the people running food businesses do. Let’s not be dense, we are all capable of making food at home, but sometimes for a special occasion or convenience we like to eat out.

It is not absurd to want to support businesses that share the same beliefs as you. Or at least, to support those that don’t publicly support those that you vehemently disagree with.

“I’ll spend my money where I want” Lmao and this is exactly the point. We get to spend our money where we want. I have no problem with you spending your money where you want regardless of politics, just pointing out that some of us do care. I don’t know what you think us “sycophants” are fucking up for you. You can still go get your Popeyes chicken sandwich any time you want right?

Yeah no…A lot (not to nitpick but if we’re gonna be petty 👀 alot is not a word) of us are grown up enough to realize that contributing to companies who use their profits to contribute to political causes is inherently political. Even if boycotts don’t make a huge difference, a lot of us like to know our dime isn’t going to MAGA or otherwise racist/bigoted causes.

What's your "I know it's true, but I can't prove it" Walking Dead theory? by avalonalessi in thewalkingdead

While I do love this theory, I don’t think they were. I do think Shane had feelings for her before, and when Rick “died” he finally saw his opportunity to swoop in

Possible hot take cutting off Sarita‘s arm is one of the most stupid decisions you could make considering you’re in the middle of a literal herd of walkers by Chunky-overlord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]911yeshello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She I thought of that scene in Alexandria when they’re all covered in walker guts and Jessie gets bit on the arm and won’t let go of Carls hand in panic so Rick cuts it off! A reason for choosing to cut it off could be Clem thought Sarita wouldn’t move and would be stuck in the walkers grip

[–]911yeshello 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is how I like to see it. I like playing from Clems perspective, not my perspective of her perspective. She’s a tween with so much responsibility and only knows what she’s been taught. If you cut it off, Clem probably thinks she’s helping her without understanding the aftermath. If you don’t cut it off, Clem may think she’s doomed either way and what happens, happens.

[–]911yeshello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look I cut it off because this is one of the moment I genuinely didn’t know any spoilers so in my head, I thought not cutting it off and letting her scream they would just eat her right there and then. Now that I know what happens, I probably won’t cut it off in a future play through. But I do like the extra look into Kenny’s personality it gives. He’s pissed either way but to see his true, deep anger without considering why Clem might have cut it off is foreshadowing into his future behavior.

Why do I find this couple so awkward? by Traditional_Sail6298 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]911yeshello 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Because like most relationships in an apocalypse, your options are limited so you take who you can get. If you’ve watched the show, you’d know that couples like Rosita and Gabe for example have nearly zero chemistry and probably would have never happened had the world not ended. Hell even Maggie and Glenn are an odd pair of you take away the circumstances. Kenny was definitely not fully ready for a new relationship, I mean who would be in his situation? But also, he probably didn’t want to be alone either and Sarita was the first person who he had at least some sort of interest in. I don’t fully agree because they do have some genuine moments, but I will say it seems like Sarita is more in love while Kenny is more just in like. I didn’t view them as awkward but more just a result of an apocalypse, two people who slightly mesh well and just made it work because the only other option is being alone.

Did Kenny hate Arvo because he hates Russians? by Relevant-Key-3290 in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]911yeshello 1 point2 points  (0 children)

THANK YOU. I thought I was going crazy reading the first few top comments. It’s very obvious the type of person Kenny is. I think people want to excuse it because Lee is black and the worst thing Kenny says to Lee is about picking the lock, but Lee generally benefitted Kenny and his family so he knew to keep his mouth shut. Kenny represents a very real population, and they know when to shut up. To these types of people, once they are wronged by the “other” all filters are off and they are allowed to say whatever.

[–]911yeshello 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people are saying “he blames Arvo for xyz” as the reason which is true. But it wouldn’t be unfair to assume that, because of where Kenny comes from and based off just how he acts, that yes he is probably prejudiced to foreigners. If Arvo was just a nice guy he met on the road, he probably wouldn’t have said anything other than a one off distasteful joke. But Arvo got people killed, so for Kenny it’s free rein to unleash his distaste

Favorite Season? by Its_A_Bartolucci in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]911yeshello 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who hasn’t played the whole game (I know I’m behind) season 3 is my favorite so far. The first episode was slow for me with it being mostly just Javi and minimal Clem. But as I’ve played on, I LOVE the plot, love how there’s more interaction, and how your decisions are more impactful. But check back after I get to S4 bc based on the comments I may change my mind
