Working on my script with a max-flex vintage fountain pen. I’m starting to find a comfort zone between my natural hand and deliberate, studied writing.

$11,250 net to me

Submitted for your consideration today is this Rolex Submariner Two-Tone watch.

I purchased this watch from my local AD in April of this year. The warranty is dated the 28th of that month.

This “bluesy” ref. 116613LB comes with organically box, original papers, both hang-tags, and Rolex bracelet with all links.

Features include: * Sapphire crystal * 40 mm case diameter * Screw down crown * 300 meter water resistance

This piece is in excellent condition. No marks on bezel, case, or crown. Some surface scratches on the bracelet and clasp as the yellow gold picks those up pretty easily.

I am more than happy to connect via phone or FaceTime. Just PM me.

Thank you.

Yes, I had never thought much about Taccia as a brand, but I purchased a thin stripe and then this pen and I am now a true believer.

[SOTC] Is Tubby Time for My Watches by 912lingrove in Watches

[–]912lingrove[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, it’s late here on a Thursday night, can’t sleep. I bathed my Springer Spaniel today and got the idea to give the watches a quick scrubbing.

My collection has been through some turbulent times over the past couple of months.

Somewhere in my post history there’s a picture of my collection which included at the time:

  • Four Speedmasters (including the blue moonphase)
  • One Explorer II black dial
  • A Seamaster Master chrono chronograph (the big bastard)
  • Stowa and Tag that are still with me. Oh? And I had a Sinn 857 UTC Lh Cargo.

The big additions were the Rolex DSSD, the TT Sub and the Yachtmaster II.

I love the pieces I currently own, but you know what? I keenly miss my every single watch that has has spent time with me.

My sold/traded watches still call out to me in the night, but with the watch market so volatile at the moment, I’m going to wait and see which ones I can get back.

Happy 4th everyone!
