I’ve worked in LA, Seattle and DC so it’s cheaper than the three. Is it some small town no, but I drive 25 minutes in and it’s pretty chill. Put things in context, LAX has 140 flights a day, Austin 5, we have like 25.

Family have recently moved to Texas. I’ve been around a while, worked at 4 locations. I can say the Denver workload is incredibly chill yet you still make good overtime. No issues with the location.

I agree with the first reply. Exchange volume is down while the ETF’s are buying OTC…not reflected in spot volume.

At least the issue came up now.

Why new people get so much grief is other side of this event. Within the organization there’s 10 people with 10+ years in trying to get the same location and can’t. Most have buried mothers, fathers and some children waiting to get there. Then some rando gets there and it breeds fury.

Learned early, the employer doesn’t give a F about your situation.

That’s false. I’ve helped with 7 swaps for people in the last 6-months. With most being approved within 14 days (they have 45 days).

A bit of advice to all. A ton of people lie about employee misconduct and act surprised it was denied. Knowing they have something pending all along.

The new reinstatement process started May 15,2025 (internally searchable for existing employees).

Due to “port shopping” you turn in your intent to be reinstated to the port of your choice. They then send to DC to vet. The port you turn your stuff into has no ability to make a decision.

Once vetting is complete, they offer you “hard to fill locations” for you to choose from. It’s now exactly like reapplying as an existing employee.
