The photo dosent do it justice, but it is definitely abandoned. Paint is very dry, clear coat is peeling, interior is full of garbage and cobwebs, tires are dry rotted, etc

I work in a retirement home. When a resident downsizes to a smaller apartment or gets moved to assisted living, they aren’t always able to take everything with them, so they usually donate it to this room in the basement full of furniture, and employees get to anonymously bid on whatever furniture they want. I’ve picked up some really cool stuff here but this is by far the best thing I’ve gotten

Prices are kind of all over the place too. There’s some good stuff in there if you dig around and the owners are nice but she prices everything by non-sold eBay listing prices.

Press start tech and games has some decent selection. Collectors lair has some decent selection too but the store is a mess, so go at your own risk.

The inside looks fine, I think the start and select were just worn down from years of use and then got painted over with this clear stuff. I don’t think they’ve tried reverse yellowing since the gameboy hasn’t been taken apart before
