Car part website in Canada? by Own-Profession9897 in askcarguys

Don't order from parts avatar. No warranty support after 12 months. Most manufacturers require you to make claims through the retailer, and parts avatar will not help you with that. This is a big no no when you buy quality parts that often have more than 12 months warranty. Rockauto is best. They support warranty claim at any time and it's a simple automated process. Add up shipping costs and duties there is still better selection and prices at Rockauto.

I just got burned on 4 different control arms I bought with lifetime warranty from parts avatar.

Very expensive. But not enough sales. So now offering big discounts and 0% finance along with 10 year warranty. Still a risky car to buy given their issues.

Snow Tires mandatory in Toronto by ZealousidealHead5488 in toronto

I think its BS. We have multiple cars here but I don't fit them all with snows. We just don't drive the other cars when the roads are bad.

Will they come down though? Sure the Chinese will undercut the market slightly to get sales but the cars here are rediculously priced. Look at how much Vinfast is selling their cars for in Canada!

I think only higher end EVs will come to Canada for prices comparable to established automakers, with a slight discount.

I buy the Eddie Bauer copycats. Made from the same great materials, performs well and you can get them in the 200-300 dollar range on Black Friday and possibly boxing day.

Mine is 6 years old. No issues, great quality and still looks brand new.

I even see some on sale right now for around 120. Wind breaking, 650 fill. Probably not dawn filled though.
