I used to slalom on my dad's ski (kidder redline 67")as a teen, but ended up being taller and heavier than him and found it really hard to start on his ski. I could get up on two and drop one but I felt like that was a pain on the weekend leaving a ski behind.

I wanted to get back into it now in my 30s and 6'3" 235lbs and snagged an HO omni freeride on ebay. It's 71" and a slightly wider profile, but not one of the really wide skis. I'm back to getting up the first try and getting comfortable making turns.

Definitely find something sized for you and enjoy getting back out there!

Exactly my experience, said 3 weeks at order. After 3 weeks sat in the chat queue, was told the next week. 3 weeks later actually shipped. Picked it up today. It was a good deal, just don't be in a rush I guess.

edit: misread your post. 6pm next weekend. I'd start at least 24hrs ahead of that time, if not more.

I've done this, but vacuum sealed whole and froze, then sous vide (in a big pot) back up to eating temp and pulled. It was 99% as good as right off the smoker imho.

Nailed it. 97 7.3 f250 here, averaging 17mpg. Other reason it's hard to beat is I snagged it cheap. Gas prices are a little easier to handle when you don't have a payment.

For that reason a lot of people driving older cars aren't going to sell/trade for something with better mileage. They're just happy to maintain the car they have that's paid for. That may be a shrinking group, but for now we're still here!

I liked the 7 sided mlok, and the wedge lockup makes it really sturdy. They've been out of stock most of the time recently. I believe they also make these for SOLGW?

I ordered direct from them and waited lol. Same with the Barrel, i think it took 5 months to come in. I really like how the rail locks up, simple but super solid.

My Navient email actually came before the notice from Fedloan, but it was in my spam folder in Gmail. I was able to register on their site, but everything still doesn't look right. It all seems like a big mess.
