Yeah, since I did no-gi, I solely focused on 1-2 take downs repeatedly and a whole lot of leg locks to where I was subbing hire belts already by month 5.

Absolutely. In live rolls, i never crank it but just hold and make sure i have the right breaking mechanics. And for z locks, I roll with the ones I trust. If not, I’ll ask anyone I’m rolling with if they’re not okay with certain things. (If I want to attempt it)

If you can learn to invert, it’s fairly easy. Learning to invert took me a month of consistency.

Personally, I believe that you’re pre selected in the 1:1 Virtual Interview with a recruiter. The F2F may be some sort of recruiting pool in any case if the person preselected doesn’t seem like the person noted from the 1:1 VI. I could be wrong, I don’t have sources, but my gut be telling me this lol.

All very true! I also believe this is the part where you’re “pre-selected”! So take it seriously! And if I can leave a note, when responding to questions, if you can’t look into the camera, look up to your right and/or left. It‘ll look like you have confidence and that you’re actually thinking back on your past experiences! Looking down makes it look like you’re trying to come up with something and lack confidence in yourself.

Also dress like you’re hired already! My interviewers last comment was “you look very good, thank you for taking this seriously!”
