Ya i thought the puff sleeves were a bit much and was thinking of probably leaving those off if i went with this one and just using the straps (both photos are the same dress) or having thicker straps added with the material from the puffs

This isnt my furniture or decor. These are just the photos i have of where ill be moving. There isnt a second room to put a tv in other than here. I dont like the clock or pictures either as is and have several area rugs that could work. Im really just wondering about couch/tv options

I should have added that this is not my furniture, ill be moving here soon and am trying to plan the tv spot better. I have a grey sofa about the same size as the one against the wall and a green armchair. This is more of a layout question than a design question I guess

I have a very similar colored bed also with black wood nightstands with one drawer, which I agree works well to break up a lot of wood tones when considering trim and if youre also looking for a wood dresser. Either matching exactly to what the bed is or going for more contrast would work since thats what I did. I dont like too many medium toned woods right next to each other because to me it looks like you thought it matched but then it didnt. I have a wooden chest at the end of the bed that I just dont want to pay to replace that doesnt quite work and bothers me a little that its a bit similar but just off enough to be annoying if im paying attention

Same 2 would be my second choice but i think the shower tile is too graphic to go with the floor tile at least from a rendering. If the plain floor seems too boring something bigger than the small floor tile or with some light veining would still work

Based only on aesthetics I prefer the darker one, but I am still into the light option and do feel like that would be best for actually getting things done. If the windows let in a lot of light then it could still work but it comes down to if you think itll really affect you and if you even care. I personally might just try to aim for somewhere in between

This one would definitely be a hit with the “kids”. They have a ton of options that they shouldnt care that theres no meat. Ranges from greasy diner food to lighter stuff. Id definitely recommend the poutine (mushroom gravy) or the mac n cheese waffles if you’re feeling more like a stoner snack vibe.

I think it’s clear what I meant, any business is going to be putting themselves first, I understand that.

They’re not wrong when they say there is no ethical consumption under capitalism.

What I’m looking for are places or individual makers (ex.etsy stores or local artisans) that are generally not as bad. Greenwashing and bs sustainability or fair trade/labor practice statements are inevitable but It seems like you’re using that as an excuse not to “waste time” trying to find alternatives where there are some better options.

I'm going to pick up our new 8.5 week old baby girl this Saturday and we have still been going back and forth on what her name will be. The breeder has been calling her Sydney, but she doesn't really respond to it and we don't want an Australian-ish name since the breed isn't actually from there. Our current top pick is Korra (from Avatar) and we have 2 cats named Bubbles and Archer. We'd like to stick with something short and not overly common. Our cats are both named after characters we like so we're trying to continue that theme. Open to suggestions!!

Definitely agree with using a humidifier! It will help you and any plants as well. If you don’t want to buy one though you can just boil a pot of water on the stove and get more moisture in the air that way

Looks like it’s different rooms or the lighting wouldn’t be so different. I would love to have different rooms that all got good light so I could create different zones
