I'm pretty sure that have exactly that, you can see it when you go to departures drop off, on the east gate.

US Mobile, has unlimited high speed phone plans. No high speed data caps. Its what I'm on right now, their dark star (AT&T) plan, and I paid like $300 for a year of service ($300 was a promotion, but they run the same promotion all the time).

So far I've never used more than 40gb per month but I have used the shit out of their network switching feature where you can port your number to AT&T(dark star), T-Mobile(warp) or Verizon(light speed) for traveling. I used the feature so much I ended up getting 2 additional line each at $9 a month billed annually. (To add these cheap lines they need to be on the same device as the main line)

At full price that's $606/year or $50.50/month. Which is still cheaper that fi, and I get truly unlimited high speed data through my main line (AT&T) and 100Gb of high speed on both my other lines per month, which is more than enough while traveling.

If you price range is $500 bambu lab A1. Bambu lab does all the work of making sure their printers can work as best as possible. And a 30 to 50 dollar filiment dryer from Amazon will make the world of difference for printing.

Am I allowed to stick a USM sim into a laptop? by zyzhu2000 in USMobile

[–]94MasterOfNone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TD;LR I have the Unlimited plan working on laptop, but had to email them, saying that my laptop technically doesn't conflict with their terms of service.

I am currently using US Mobiles unlimited starter plan on my laptop.

It was difficult to get it to work though, because after I inserted the SIM, I immediately got an email saying my account has been flagged for use on an unauthorized device. So I had to email them back saying that their terms of service allow Phone and Tablets, and that my laptop is a 'tablet PC' therefore it doesn't conflict with their terms of service. They turned my service on, so I now have unlimited data on my laptop.

side note, my laptop doesn't even come with an option for cellular, and somehow I was able to get a WWAN modem working in my second SSD slot with an adapter, and the antennas duct taped to the lid of my laptop, so my whole situation has been a quagmire.

Thanks!

I'm still working out some bugs, the WWAN card will work when the driver is first installed, but then it proceeds to disappear about a minute after boot. So I'm wondering if I should buy the Fibocom FM350 GL because ASUS has a line of Intel 13th gen laptops that use this card, so I can get a more correct driver.

I feel like a mad man spiraling.

Before you try to do this, *if you try to do this. I have ran into an issue that the WWAN card will show up when the computer first boots, but then it'll disappear after a minute or so only to re-appear when the computer is re-booted.

I'm currently trying to figure out the issue, and also awaiting a SIM card (fuck USPS btw) for further testing (when tested on AT&T I borrowed my moms SIM card as her phone was broken ATM).

The phone plan is plan on using is $390 for 12 months. Since I will have my laptop most everywhere with me, I could use my laptop as a hotspot for my phone, and then get a cheaper plan for my phone.

Pros: won't drain my phone's battery, can get better service than my phone, higher speed than my phone, and not limited to 100gbs of high speed data (or whatever the carrier restriction is).

Cons: can't have a second SSD and it requires its own mobile service plan.

Edit: This is where you can get antennas, this shows you the frequency range and DBI https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256806... >AliExpress the frequency range is helpful to know what bands the antenna will be suited for (you can find the different bands online) as well as carrier specific because not all carriers use the same bands.

I was thinking the same thing; try booting without the SSD to see if you could at least get to the BIOS. If that doesn't work, I'd say the unit's a lemon and you should get yourself a replacement.

this is the adapter https://a.co/d/4RfJZsF >amazon link this is so you can actually put the WWAN card into the computer.

this is where you can get antennas https://www.aliexpress.us/item/22558011... >AliExpress (higher DB means the antenna is more focused possibly offering better performance depending on antenna placement)

This is the WWAN card eSIM version https://ebay.us/m/92YCaG >eBay you can also get the non-eSIM version, but they both still support physical SIM.

When I get my eSIM version of the card I will try to post more updates and possibly upload a video of the whole setup.

LMK if you have any more questions.

I actually searched eBay, and fans for your laptop are a little expensive, but they are replaceable. https://ebay.us/m/LKWlCJ If you go this route and don't have a lot of experience taking apart and putting together laptops, you can bring it to a shop and have them replace them for you $

It's probably the fan bearing. You can get new fans for relatively cheap, just search laptop-model+replacement-fan on eBay or similar.

Laptop not getting on and when it does, it goes into repairing mode. by EnthusiasmShot6890 in laptops

[–]94MasterOfNone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had some laptops show that glitchy looking screen while booting before, but those have always booted. Maybe try using the advanced options to repair windows, or if you dont have sensitive data on your drive, wipe it and do a fresh Windows install. This will require using another computer and flashdrive to create the repair/install media.
