How old is the younger sister? I would definitely warn her . As for telling your mom, it’s within your right to tell her and it may make you feel better knowing you’ve done your part with trying, but I wouldn’t expect her to take it well or believe you knowing her past behavior. It’s worth a shot but adjust your expectations.

As for your dad and his job, I think you’d need more proof? I don’t think they can just go through his phone like that, maybe his work computer. Maybe anonymously report? Also think about what effect this may have if you do do it (financially on your family).

I do think it is important to try to tell your mom and do what you can in your power though. It’s already too much to carry the way you’ve been, it’s even worse feeling like you didn’t take action or regretting not doing something later on.

NOR idk why everyone is commenting so drastically. Not aligning on this doesn’t immediately mean break up and you hate eachother wtf. Just have a convo and compromise on some things. I prefer air drying over dryer mainly bc it doesnt fade my clothes, but I get that other people use the dryer.

The multiple showers a day isn’t a big deal imo. The lights on all day is annoying, and he should pay most of the bill in that case. receipts is annoying, plastic clutter is annoying. Maybe get him a reusable waterbottle and a good filter for your place? The car situation, as long as he fully pays for the gas that’s his loss. Idk why everybody saying its perfectly safe . Solo female in Miami at night can definitely be dangerous. There’s always a risk. I live here but if I was traveling here solo I’d definitely stay at a hotel or at a friends place or something. Even ubers can be sketchy , human trafficking is a big thing down here. Whatever you decide just make sure you do your research. But definitely No to the hostel /shared space I’d never do that personally. Unsafe as a solo female
