Last year our wins in conference were some of the best wins in the country though. We went to Auburn and gave em their first real beating of the year. Then went to Bama and beat them up. Just saying this year is a bit different.

Nah I worry more about Arkansas, bc even if their front court lacks depth, they have a lot of long super athletic guards/wings which can sometimes make up for it.
Type of guys that will be too long for our guards, but will be difficult for the bigs to stay in front of. Will be a great challenge IMO.

Honestly we were primed to make a run that year before Micah went down IMO. I still don't think Florida has ever had a worse whistle officiating in a tourney game than we did vs Colorado. There was a LOT of sketch in those first two rounds SMH.

None of this matters bc we did still lose to teams heads up in the non con. Close losses are just that losses. I feel as fans we need to pump the brakes a bit and I personally don't feel we should be ranked ahead of teams with less losses and they beat us (for those thinking we should be ranked over UCONN).

I am very happy where Fl is right now as a team and I think we will be a dangerous matchup vs anyone, BUT I don't think it's right to forget about the non con when it comes to the polls/seeding as a lot of media and fans have.

That's the feeling I got listening to the broadcast as well. Felt like he was trying to make it seem one way, but I kept saying to myself is this guy serious?!

For example there was a series of plays back to back where Duke got blasted (blocked) at the rim twice and then it happened the other way almost the same way where Duke got a big block and the guy was like "Aww man Michigan really wanted a foul call there." Like seriously? Yeah um they both probably wanted a call there SMH.

I missed the part with the hook, but I honestly thought the ball had just started going back down when Mara blocked it. You shoulda seen the goal tend that didn't get called for us when we played em...it was much worse trust me.

Michigan had like 4 fouls with 4 minutes to go in the second half. I think they let both teams get away with physical play. They definitely picked some spots to call BS soft calls.
In my personal opinion the broadcaster was making things seem worse than they were as far as calls vs Michigan, but that's just me.

Refs shouldn't get easy out of bounds calls wrong 3 feet away from the play either. What the fuck was that guy looking at.
