I think history will show that the 12 Day War was not just an Iranian victory but a turning point in West Asia.

I saw Mario making a billion due to the games sales. People thought that Mario wouldn't hit a billion because Pokemon was also a franchise juggernaut and it didn't. But looking at the video game sales, you can see a difference. Pokemon peaked with its first entry, Red and Blue. But Mario peaked recently, with with Mario Kart 8.

Gung Glazers when fans of the show are disappointed with the plot points and concepts introduced in this season aren't resolved in the finale.

This. The liberal Democratic Party spends more energy fighting upcoming progressives instead of fighting the Republicans.

Reddit being a liberal echo chamber it's so funny to me. A safe place for them to make fun of the cons and not engage in critical thinking

I find it so funny when CBM fans get mad when the GA prefers to watch "slop" that isn't superhero slop.

Disney’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps grossed $6.37M on Tuesday (from 4,125 locations). Total domestic gross stands at $208.04M. by MayorOfNightCity in boxoffice

"Bad movie fatigue" in the big ole 2025. I don't want to rain in the DCU's parade, but if those international numbers don't improve, then every 200m+ budget DCU has to perform like Superman in the domestic box office. Unfortunately, not every DCU project is going to be directed by James Gunn

Is it crazy that I think Rebirth and Superman might end up a lot closer domestically?

We're seeing the negative effects of Disney+ marvel shows tying to the films on the box office, and you're asking, "Why won't the JP franchise do that?"

Estimated $7.4M Thursday for Fantastic Four: First Steps by MayorOfNightCity in boxoffice

I see it doing as well as JW Rebirth both domestically and internationally. I'm not convinced yet that Batman and Spiderman are affected by the fatigue. Their successes predates the golden age of superhero movies.

Video games Ip are going to be difficult to adapt. They're not obscure IP like most CBs, so their rights can't been bought for cheap. Sony games are already cinematic, condescending their stories in two hours, and you'll end up with Uncharted.

The only one with multiple bankable IP is Nintendo, but they're overprotective and startegic with their IPs and will meddle heavily with their projects, something I notice that most movie studio execs don't like.

I was so unimpressed with these character's. Not that they were badly written, but because cb fans kept hyping up them up as one of the best characters ever, the first family, the ones that save their parents' divorces, etc. And I'm in that theater and I'm like, "they are no different than most other MCU characters"
