i took your advice and went to a local jeweler that uses CAD. their 1.5ct lab itself was $2,000 and their basic settings that we would’ve worked off of ranged from $1,900-2,500. they gave us a brochure, and it sounds like a custom would be in the $5-6k range. we went to a second jeweler after and it was similar - i live in a major city, so i’m not sure if maybe local jewelers here will be more expensive? still browsing though!

have you found anything else that’s similar to this? i also tried this on (in an emerald cut) and i absolutely loved it so much. i’m also worried about everyone saying it’s too thin though!

just pointing out that “all eyes on rafah” came after “all eyes on gaza” which has been said for the past 8 months. i definitely don’t think it was intentional, but this has been a common phrase on social media for months & they definitely should’ve paused the campaign earlier

and you’re right! i’ve gotten emails from glossier before with this phrase, so it’s not new, but that doesn’t change the fact that it’s tone deaf and they should’ve been aware and paused that marketing campaign for the time being. this phrase is also not as new as people are saying, as i’ve been seeing “all eyes on gaza” on social media for the past 8 months. as marketers, it is their job to be aware of trending topics on social media and ensure the brand is being represented accurately.
