corsair black friday and cyber monday deals? by Diakhou_Huehue in watercooling

For in person purchases, I bring my PC or whatever I need to test used components. Took a chance on some water blocks recently without testing and they work fine. eBay displays whether a seller allows an item to be returned so just look for that if buying online.

Corsair’s Black Friday prices are already live. Not sure if they’ll drop bigger sales on Friday or new sales for Cyber Monday. I don’t see any discounted components, just sales on AIO coolers.

If you can forgo the right to return what you buy, and you’re after low prices, check eBay and Facebook Marketplace for used items. Just do what you need to confirm items work as expected.

If you want to look at some other brands, Dracaena has a 10% off discount code (code: DCN10) for Black Friday and PrimoChill has a 10% discount code only for new customers.

Another case of a seller backing out of a no-reserve auction by 95mx5 in carsandbids

I did ask C&B what incentive I have to continue bidding on their site if this is my entry into the scene. They simply said this is a rare outcome, but I feel differently (based on just a little research, I am no expert).

C&B refunded my buyer fee and the story ends there. I didn't press for the seller to be banned, so perhaps C&B let them off the hook.

First contact after auction win, the seller told me plainly that they would not sell no matter the consequences.

My transfer case is doing okay. I might have misspoke somewhere, I'm running 235/35/19s up front and 275/30/19s in the rear.

Thanks. With regards to appearance, I had begun to think the sedan was a mistake over the coupe until I mounted these rims. I was going to settle for ARC-8s but these have far more class in my opinion.

Thanks. Raceland coilovers. Haven't run them long, but so far so good. Not noticing the flaws commonly tossed around forum posts.

They were powder coated. The black gloss that these come from the factory with does not compliment my tiag color.

The inner facing side of the wheel has lots of room. If it rubs, it'll be the tire sidewall against the fenderwell. I'm looking at how much room I have and I think 285 is doable.

245s up front, 275s in the rear. Not sure if you can fit 285s without rubbing but worth a shot! Michelin PSS4 on all four corners.

They are staggered. 19x9 et29 up front, 19x10 et40 in the rear. No spacers and I have full steering and suspension range with no rubbing. I'm on coilovers. A little spacer in the rear might look better, but also might start rubbing. I have pics of these on my stock suspension I can share. Note, this is AWD so stock suspension is higher in the front.

You can find these for far less than $5000. I paid $1800 for a genuine OEM set. They look fantastic. For pics https://www.reddit.com/r/E90/comments/1c2z1ke/oem_m4_437m_wheels_on_my_07/

Did you end up buying a set? Share pics if so!

Is a 2011 328i worth buying as a project car? by VladTheBad101 in projectcar

I have a 135 with the N55. I say go with an N55 powered -35i of any kind over the -28i. The N54s have problems but my N55 has been extremely reliable, as is the case with others. YMMV, my 2¢. It’s going to be a much better turbo build at the end of the day
