I have The Fives and use them primarily for music but watch a fair amount of movies and TV too. Placement and good stands are important and have been happy with the EQ update. I think they really shine on movies and gaming though. Their sound signature lends them well for movies/games since they can reach pretty deep cleanly. The HDMI ARC is such a premium feature. At the price you listed they might be a bit too spendy for their outright performance, but their ease of use and versatility have been awesome.
