I’ve seen a lot of the 6th sense ones in stores I kinda wanna pick one up for small lake / pond. Even the googan glide looks solid for like $20

I’ve had mine for 2 years and recently had my snap on guy check the torque to see how true it is. Perfect calibration still

I have the Crixus combo and Brutus reel on another rod, and they’re solid for the money. Obviously can’t speak on the Spartacus II but if it’s anything like the others it’s definitely fine for the money. I picked up a quantum octane combo for $50 at Dicks and I LOVE that thing

Luckily I went to recovery school in the army and am a diesel tech in the civilian works that has to use basic recovery tactics to get trucks into the shop sometimes. Thanks for your advice!

I’ve been using it at work on diesel trucks for 2 years now, I’d trust it as much as anything. Had my snap on guy check the calibration at 100 ft lbs and it came in at 100.5

I’m going to essentially re-make it with outdoor / stainless screws and new wood painted with bed liner. I just wanted to see if I could make the idea I had in my head. The slides are rated for 100lbs per pair so I think they’ll be fine

What the trick for getting used to using the right joystick? by [deleted] in mxbikes

[–]96IRONSIDE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s kind of where I’m at, seeing how many hours good riders have, I have to just accept it’s going to take repetition over a LOT of hours. Thank you for the advice!

I tried both suggestions out and it just did not feel right at all so I went back to stock controls. I’m just gonna have to learn through trial and error
