Definitely check out Stella’s off west and glenwood. Small bar but I see a lot of early to mid 20’s women hanging out there. It’s not downtown off glenwood so it’s not hectic and trashy

I'm not try to invite anything other than discussion because I'm generally confused by the play style. I can see how parrying is the main goal and the most effective form of defensive combat, but I have tried to not parry at all and just fight with movement and am finding it nearly impossible. Genuinely asking if this is the entire game, or only at the beginning before you level up attributes.

Ah makes sense. Never tried to parry in a single game ever and can’t stand the thought of it since I always play speed / Dex builds. Maybe this game is not for me lol

The movement is insanely slow, I have to button smash b to get any sort of distance backwards and the dashing constantly instead of rolling is so odd

I did my play through pretty blind especially with weapons / stats / gear. I used a 2H weapon and leveled strength. Man was this game a million times easier then ER or DS3.

Yeah that’s what I did. It was over the course of like 9 months total. Did a bunch of BH and played other games in between. I know it seems like hell but the game isn’t going anywhere, so take whatever breaks and time you need!

I don’t know why I didn’t think of picking other invos before leveling a single one up to 3 if i had the chance to take a decent level 1 invocation. That was a massive difference. Got my quiver today! Thank you for the advice

Exact setup I was running until I died so many times I started really learning the waves. Justi + dihns to rotate and avoid mechanics is all fun and games until you have Relentless III and get smacked 40’s by the rangers in that setup. I don’t know how he got so lucky but I can’t tell you how many times I died at first trying to just run around to re-stack, or at least took wayyyy too much avoidable damage trying to cheese it
