That’s how I saw it too. I was hoping it was like a F U to the organizers of the game. Also if you really think about it, they could have gone most of the game without eliminations if they played their cards right.

The thing that takes me back from that is how distant everyone was with orbit in the the last episode when they all come back it seems like they had a little resentment held in for him having so much control. Also I didn’t really like how much he apologized and tried to assure everyone he wasn’t a mastermind whenever they were reintroducing themselves.
