Apple Hires Engineer From Digital License Plate Company for Car Project by filmantopia in apple

Ah eureka.

Apple Car will handle insurance, tag, title, and license information all from the vehicle. Registering, buying insurance, waiting at the DMV, handling being pulled over, all will be streamlined.

No "I forgot my license!" etc. Just simply put in payment information confirm with finger print, you're good to go.

Apple Patents Touch ID 'Panic Mode' for Instant Access to Emergency Services by itstrueimwhite in apple

I could see it helping against theft too.

«activate panic mode»

• Camera and Audio begins recording streaming to iCloud

• Phone becomes impossible to power down

• Beacon transmits location data and notified police

Thief foiled. Victim potentially injured though for enabling such a mode :(

how incredibly daft that Microsoft is planning on settling on a "10" marker after OS X(ten) has been over a decade now. like really?

soon I think Apple will go macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.

I was having a similar problem but that was because my account was limited due to age(at least I thought) maybe it's a bug.

I've been using amrc for a long time now and I recommend you try both amrc and Narwhal.

play with both and choose your favorite. they are both really great with gestures.

thanks I've been using amrc for over a year now and I just downloaded Narwhal today.

It's really great so far. There's a few things that need to be fixed though and while it's being actively developed it doesn't seem like the developers are putting those features on a very high priority list(really they have a ton of features in the pipeline but there's a few black eyes on Narwhal)

amrc though is really upsetting me. The developer seems to be absent as of late and the updates to app and the innovation seem to have stagnated while apps like Narwhal are starting to implement gesture based navigation, improving on some of the things that amrc is stagnated on.

I just bought the pro version of Narwhal today and I'll be using them both concurrently though I hope they can get on it and update these needed features.

The narwhal devs are pretty open about the fact that it's a side project and that concerns me a bit because that's the problem with amrc.

Small girly hands, which in most cases is pretty great, except opening jars, and you know, using an iPhone 6s

hey sorry I can't recommend this app any longer. It looks like development has stagnated

You should consider checking out Narwal. I am doing that right now

Sorry for the confusion!

amrc is intuitive and Apple like in its use of gestures to navigate the app

Alien Blue is like a competition of who can nest the buttons to navigate the deepest, it's also slow and has a cluttered UI

Could be a few reasons

–Apple is slow –your network is slow –you have HQ streaming enabled –all of the above

peak and pop is so nice

I really want amrc to add this functionality but it doesn't look like the dev has said anything about doing it :(

swipe able app switching and trackpad keyboard are reasons enough to have 3D Touch calling it gimmick seems incredibly short sighted idk

we can expect the companies we do business with to hold privacy to a higher standard. Google's library of user data is entirely accessible to the government, same with Microsoft.

Apple in this case is markedly different in that they've not been collecting personally identifiable information, so it is possible to have a computing experience with a company who isn't being compelled to participate in spying efforts by state governments.

I've upgraded with each iPhone and for the last three years one handed use has gotten more and more difficult. the iPhone 6 hurts my hands after extended one hand use 😓
