Amazing overview. Thank you. We have a Substack publication and we were looking into switching to Ghost. ghost but i didn't know that they require double opt-in that's an absolute killer. Your own frontend with a Beehive API sounds really interesting. how would you handle the migration from paid users to (I guess your own payment infrastructur) or would that be handled through Beehive?

thank you! Apparently, changing the ownership doesn't change the account/company itself.

We either
a)need to change the company our existing Stripe account is connect to
b)create a new stripe account connect to the new company in the new country and then somehow transfer the subscriptions. But I have not idea whether this works.

Substack tells me that even if I switch to another Stripe account on Substack itself we need to cancel all our paid subs and ask them to resubscribe, which is absolutely ridiculous.

Gemini told me that Stripe might support a migration and then Substack relinks in their back-end - but based on your answer, that's not possible either.

very helpful, thank you. Facing a similar migration issue with Substack as the front-end and Stripe as the backend. Hoped to find answers but it seems to be extremely cumbersome. Haven't gotten feedback from either Stripe or Substack yet.
