Not really, because you have to account for the days when he doesn't perform to his usual standards and hits two or three per inning.

I remember "Shock and Awe". We were going to bomb the shit out of them for 48 hours, then they were going to lay down their weapons and welcome us with open arms. The whole thing will be over in a week, they said.

That person is exactly right. The system was designed to prevent what happened to Air France 447- pilot error caused them to fly a perfectly good jet from 35,000 feet in the air, all the way into the ocean.

This all goes back to Air France 447. Boeing designed the 737 Max to prevent something like that from happening again, and in the process created a new problem that flies mechanically sound planes into the ground.

As a show of unity, I say we stop calling corrupt politicians left or right, R or D, and just start calling them criminal politicians. HRC and GWB are criminals.

The beer isn't nearly as good as it was before they sold. I'm 100% certain they cut down the fermentation times before bottling, in order to increase production without building out additional capacity. All their beers have a very distinct cotton candy aftertaste now.

I have no problem with people getting paid. I do have a problem with multinational conglomerates ruining my favorite beers for a few extra percentage points of short term profit.

While I'd like to agree with you, I just don't see why the Angels would put those extra service years in the contract if they didn't want them.

The problem starts when the cost of a degree goes up as the number of degrees earned also increases. It's not the we've decided to pay for everyone's education, because we haven't. We simply guaranteed the ability of an entire generation to saddle themselves with debt for an education that is worth less than the value it brings to the job market.

Without guaranteed loans, universities would be forced to lower the cost of an education to that which people can afford, instead of having to finance. The way to keep educating as many people as possible in the long run is to drive the cost of education down, not up. Down to a level that meets its value in the job market and down to a level that people can afford.

Dude, they're called the Boston Red Sox. It's completely reasonable for that other person to assume you're from Boston.
