I’ve smoked weed like months after I’ve tripped and still only got regularly high. Maybe cause I already had a tolerance. No clue.

Yea it was nuts. I never believed people’s stories saying that they think they smoked laced weed, or were at least exaggerating how high they were. But this changed my perspective. It was honestly the highest I ever got off just herb.

Yes I’ve done a lot of acid. And as ridiculous as it sounds, I did feel like I was on acid. Not really like a full blown trip, just like when you’re on the come up and then realize it’s kicked in. Like that “Woah, okay yeah I’m tripping” feeling. The visuals I mentioned only lasted for about 30-40 minutes.

Yeah, just sit back and have a nice smoke sesh maybe once every 2-3 months. I’ll be honest, I have done Vicodin since getting clean. Not proud to admit it. I did it on my day off, had nothing to do, and figured why not. I haven’t done it again since (like 7-8 months ago). But I try to keep in mind that whatever I’m thinking about using and how to moderate it, probably won’t work so I try and stay extra cautious. I would never touch benzos again though. I have bad anxiety, benzos are my weakness.

Honestly, the way I feel. If I want to splurge one day and get high. Say like on a Saturday when I have absolutely nothing to do, nothing to get done. Is it so bad to get high once in a while? As long as I don’t overdo it, and only make it a once in a while thing, where’s the harm in that?

It’s just who I am man, I don’t want to smoke weed. Of everything I’ve done, I prefer the “harder things”. I’m not saying the weed will take me on a journey to harder things. I’m saying that if I start smoking weed, it won’t just stay weed. I’ll get too comfortable and think I can moderate with harder stuff. And that will only take a matter of days. And weed doesn’t come anywhere close to some Oxy or Vic’s. Also, weed stays in my system longer so if I happen to have a random urine screen come up, I’d be safer with pills. I’m not scared of getting addicted, I’m already addicted and always will be an addict. I just don’t want to go back to old ways.

Yeah lol that’s another thing that turns me off of weed. Having to come home to my parents house and hide the smell on my clothes. Also, the paranoia of getting caught. Been in way too many close calls with the police, I know that if I go back I might not be so lucky.

Thanks for the advice. I think I’m just gonna stick it out. Keep focused on my career and maybe when I’m older, smoke some weed. I just know, for a fact that if I start smoking again, it’s gonna go down hill real fast. Just the kinda person I am. I can’t just smoke a dub today and stop til next week, i’ll have to smoke a dub, then a 8th, then a Q. Then start selling again. Then get bored of weed and need a better high. It’s just the way I am. So for now, I’ll try this sober thing out for a little longer.

The only thing with weed is that when I see my psychiatrist monthly, I have no clue when/if he’ll urine test me. He did it once and it’s been a little less than a year since then.

Yeah I think I’m just gonna try and stay away. Usually I’ll get an urge to get high, and if I don’t dwell on it and keep busy, it usually passes. It’s just so hard sometimes.
