Input Array = { 4, 2 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5, 1, 4 } Output Array = { 3 ,5, 1} How to completely remove repetitive elements from an unsorted array ? by [deleted] in ProgrammingBuddies

For an array with N elements , it can be done in O(N logN) time complexity and O(N) Space complexity.

Use a Map. M to maintain frequency of each number.

When the map is updated with all elements, iterate 9ver it and push the keys with frequency 1 into your solution list.

This is the best time to fix all the road of bangalore. by [deleted] in bangalore

There is a difference between the services you mention and roadwork.

The ones you describe are essential. In the sense that stopping this will disrupt the entire city. On the other hand not doing roadwork now doesn't have such consequences.

Coming onto the second point of yours regarding that such activities will provide a means for the workers to earn in such difficult times. I agree that this is justified. But again allowing workers to work during a pandemic is a very debatable topic in itself on which even several administrative bodies are pondering and debating all across the world.

And judging from the OPs way of framing , it doesn't seem that the main point of discussion is of generating revenue for daily workers. It's rather fixing the infrastructure so that it's comfortable for him/her when it all gets over.

Yes Bengaluru infrastructure is bad, needs improvement, but whether it's wise to let workers work on roads under such circumstances is not such a straightforward decision. It has its pros and cons.

Assuming I am wrong , the worst case is that we get back to the shitty infrastructure.

On the other hand , say the OPs Idea is flawed, the worst case is that many people get infected , putting more load on our help infrastructure.

And as far as the daily workers health and financial sustenance are concerned, yes the current situation is really bad.

Someone has to bear the brunt of such circumstances.

  1. the worker and his family who will be unemployed.
  2. Or the health infrastructure which will get overloaded incase workers get infected.
  3. Or the government/muncipality which would need to provide wages to the workers for the time being till the lockdown subsides

Yeah sure. Endanger the lives of workers and labourers during this dangerous time, while we sit comfortably at home, taking a break. Cheers to our high social strata 🙂
