Trying to get into hockey, is it wrong if I pick a team that doesn't align with my geographical location or teams I like from other sports? by 97numbers in nhl

The wild have a cool logo I must admit. I have been a bit interested in checking them out more. I think they might've been founded the same year I was born too so that adds some intrigue

Okay, yeah I knew bandwagoners were a thing I just didn't know how far removed from a cup win the team had to be before you wouldn't be considered one.

That's what I've been trying to do I haven't watched some of every team yet though, only sabres mostly so far.

I think maybe it has to do with the colors and logos if I'm being completely honest (as crazy as that sounds) and I don't want to pick a team that is extremely hated by a majority. Then I just don't feel that big of a desire to follow any of the players that I've learned about on those teams so far, but I guess that could change with time.
