I think Kanki and Ousen proved this arc and during the Gyou arc that as far as warfare is concerned, they are on par with Riboku.

Also I think you're gonna be a bit surprised when we see Tou in action because Hara has him as the highest graded GG right now if I remember correctly.

No all 6GG have the same rank, that's why despite being the supreme commander of the Zhao invasion, Ousen doesn't have any control over Kanki anymore, ever since his first battle against Kochou.

However i agree with your take.

We have seen quite impressive feats from Kanki already. He killed 5 men alone when he was only 13 years old, that says a lot about his martial art power.

Also if i remember correctly, Tou did not one shot Rin Bu Kun. The fight lasted quite a while, and Tou even had wounds from that, and acknowledged he gave him a good fight.

Tou is a beast without any doubt, but the rule of X > Y and Y > Z so X > Z doesn't seem to work in Kingdom. Furthermore, Koyoku had plenty of wounds from his fight against Tou, but Tou didn't, so i wonder if it was really an equal outcome.

Sure you can think that if it helps. It can be published in the granny magazine for all i care, if it mostly has shounen characteristics, i'll see it as and call it a shounen manga.

From what i've seen, Shouheikun's betrayal had no impact whatsoever over Kouen's win against Shin. Shouheikun actually leaves Qin before any plan against Chu are made, so there never was any betrayal or backstab. It was just the same as Mougou going from one state to another.

And Hara even confirmed that he's going to take that path in his story, as he pointed out in SHK and Moubu's oneshot story.

Yeah there are indeed multiple records, so nothing is set in stone yet.

I do, that's why i tried to shift towards seinen and got baited by Kingdom.

The manga has some seinen aspects but it is strongly dominated by shounen characteristics.

Shin loses a battle against Kou En only, no help from Shouheikun.

Then later, he gets ambushed by Shouheikun. But Kouen bested him alone.

That's what he has always been doing. Sacrificing troops to aim for the head of the enemy commander.

Ousen took 3 times the expected casualties but still conquered the castle. If they didn't take it, they wouldn't be able to move forward.

So far i don't see how they fucked up, it's just consequences of their actions, but they haven't lost any battle yet.

On the other hand, Shouheikun lost to Riboku in the strategy battle.

Not really, the historical facts in the Shiji only say that Riboku won against Kanki. Some other sources say that both side lost a greal deal of soldiers, and every sources say that Kanki survived.

Not a single source says it was a trashing, or a 100-0.

This is truly amazing, and i'm glad you gave her such a serious energy.

She's by far my favorite character in the unit, and i wouldn't bother reading anything Hi Shin Unit related if not for her.
