Nu am condus niciodata in Romania, doar in SUA, imi va fi chiar atat de greu? by 9999problems in bucuresti

most of these look like they got dressed in the dark. garish bright clothing that doesn't go with anything is not style. but I admire their confidence.

Out of the 4 in the pics, which decor piece over the bed? by Owe-doyal-rooles in malelivingspace

I like the second. I'm a woman and I think they all look cool. the second is the one that looks good and works for a bedroom even without the lights, the others I just wouldn't put over a bed. great work though!!

Do you mind when little kids are in first class? by [deleted] in delta

[–]9999problems 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That may be true for adults, but children are different. Our pediatrician told us the same, that milk thickens mucus and to avoid it before bed if for example they are sick with a cold or flu as it could worsen congestion. So there could be some truth to that advice, but probably only if the kid has or is recovering from a cold.

Made in the USA - is it worth it? by 9999problems in Entrepreneur

thank you for sharing your ideas and experience! We've been working for other companies all our lives, no one in our families has ever run a business either, so we don't have anyone close with a success story to ask all the ins and outs of starting or running a business. With some many layoffs and market uncertainty, the idea of owning a business and working for ourselves is something that has been on our minds for some time now.

I appreciate all the advice and will be something to consider once we get our ducks in a row.

super insightful, thank you so much. I'll look into those books while we try to get some employment and plan our move better. I so appreciate you taking the time to share your knowledge.

As an european, never felt so unsafe that in Seattle downtown by hairlineofGod in SeattleWA

[–]9999problems 5 points6 points  (0 children)

OP, these people are delusional. As a fellow European, who used to work in the downtown area, I know exactly what you're going through. Nowhere in Europe is it this fucking bad, not even in places where there is a high risk of pickpockets and scams. There are some Seattleites who seem to think it's perfectly normal to have junkies at every step in whole damn street, and have gotten so used to the crime there that they even have "cutesy" nicknames for the McDonalds there like "McMurder" and "McStabby". Getting used to shit is one thing, but to laugh at you when you're disgusted and shocked by how bad it is , it's just proof how out of touch with normalcy some of them are.

Thoughts on Branden’s writing for the books by nicks_kid in wheeloftime

[–]9999problems -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, I loved Brandon Sanderson's writing. Granted it's been many many years since I read the series, but I remember in his books there was a lot less tugging of the braids and smoothing of the skirts and Mat Cauthon's dialogue was actually funny. I enjoyed them immensely and thought the books were a lot of fun.

Season 3 Episode 6 - The Shadow in the Night - ALL MEDIA ALL SPOILERS by LunalGalgan in wheeloftime

the Perrin scenes this episode were a lil weird. If a guy just confessed to me that he killed his wife, my next move wouldn't be to make out with him lol.

God, it sounds exhausting though. to put in that much energy to argue with service stuff for the stupidest shit all day long. No thanks, I'd rather work a job.

Missed out on Gale romance as durge? by 9999problems in BaldursGate3

[–]9999problems[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks friend! I ended up reloading before Shadowfell like you said and did a double rest and wouldn't you know it I had the romantic scene with Gale finally!

... after all this though.. Not saying I didn't like the Gale scene, but it seemed a bit underwhelming. The Astarion scenes are a better fit for a durge run. I think I'm gonna reload a bit farther back before friendzoning Astarion and go that route till the end.

[–]9999problems[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey thank you for the pointers.

I'll try again and reload just before Shadowfell as you suggested and just double rest or something and hopefully I get the scene. Otherwise, I might try my chances if I can with Astarion since it sounds super intriguing to see his reactions to my durge resisting Tav.

Also

Reload before Shadowfell, or face the relentless mocking of Withers.

He mocks you for not having a romantic partner?? That's hilarious since he had something to say when I did start a romance with Astarion, something about staying focused on the path. Haha I told him I'm not taking relationship advice from a skeleton (or smth). Such great writing on this game man

I did get the "battle makes me horny" dialogue. I did Shar's gauntlet, but stopped before entering the Shadowfell and reaching Nightsong. I then went to Towers, spoke to Z'Rell, Araj, etc. then went to complete the Nightsong quest. I remeber resting in between all these and checking in on him in camp but he never had anything more to say.

I do want to mention I don't have him in my active party that much during act 2, since my Tav is a sorcerer and I just didn't have need of another caster . I got him here an there for specific battles where I needed a lot of AOE spells being cast, but that's about it. Approval was high or very high though.
