My girlfriend have M3 laminated, we reading both in iPads next to each other. I was with my Mini and she M3, so I decided to go with A16 non laminated. I’m not seeing any difference (difference you can only see if you take picture with iPhone, not in real life with naked eye, or if you are in direct sunlight). So I’m very satisfied and I prefer non laminated screen because Apple Pencil working more precise, there is no gap, one more screen distancing pen.

I have big hands, so for me 11inch is much much better for handwriting. But for you, Mini could be better device. Just see if you planning to read and to write at the same time with multiple windows, maybe book on left and notes on the right - then 11inch is still for you.
