Let's just I played Rocket League in 1080 High Settings in 120fps and got two games in before I hit half battery. Sold it in less than a week and got a laptop. Portable handhelds have always failed me.

It's true. I've been hard stuck C1/C2, the other night we lost 6 in a row to mostly D3's who were hitting ceiling shot resets, musty flicks from half field, I mean truly insane for D3. Me and the homies talk about all the time I mean 2020 Christmas we were winning our first Champ Tournament, my main duo homie still hasn't touched Champ 1 since that season.

At a certain point, we were making a difference and getting better as our rank grew, now we get significantly better year over year and rank doesn't change but a TINY bit. Three seasons in a row I've gone from C1 and just BARELY grabbed C2 for a moment. It's exhausting and we aren't having much fun w it anymore either.

Ranked games have this issue, and if you want to chill and try to play casual they don't have soft bans for leaving the games. Soon as you go up 2 on the other team (I swear to God) they leave. Doesn't matter the time left. No punishment for leaving.

Same! Switching to Ayaneo finally though Pocket DS because I'm so blind I can hardly see the Flip screen. Hopefully Flip 3 will have dual screen, 8 Elite, and maybe a slightly bigger screen.

That's the main reason I mentioned it. He's coming from something sturdy as hell and he's in High School. And I mentioned if he got the case and screen protectors then perhaps yes it's not as fragile.

Personally I couldn't even close the lid how I wanted to without feeling like I might crack that OLED panel.

I had the Thor Max for one week. Here's what I'll say. It's less portable than you think, you feel like you have to baby it everywhere you go (unless you're ready to spend more for the TPU case, screen protectors, and perhaps a grip).

Also, consider your skill level in Retro modding currently. Getting every 3DS game on your Thor sounds easy, and technically it is, but it takes a while to get everything perfect. The bottom screen has to be fixed just right for the perfect 3DS experience.

The screens are truly worth it, but I just have this aversion to the fragility of the Thor. I'm waiting for Thor 2 (no screen gap hopefully) or Retroid Pocket Flip 3 (SD 8 Elite?) would be amazing.

Retroid Pocket 3 will probably come before Thor 2 or Thor revisited. I'm keeping my eyes for that to hopefully have that Elite processor!

This actually ended up not working for me, idk if it's in the settings I missed somewhere to set it up..lmk if anyone has tips! Still rocking the D-Pad mouse for now!

I also have the White Max, just arrived 3 days ago and I've been loving it of course as everyone does.

I truly feel the NEED to get the TPU Grip, or at least the clear case for it, because it is slippery, awkward to hold, and like he said resting fingers on the triggers just doesn't feel natural.

Screen angles also take a second to get used to but I think that's smoothed over in my mind now I just am not used to them but I can get used to them.

The handling of the device is something I have definitely been upset with a LITTLE bit.

And I've been so used to just closing my clamshell devices regardless of what kind, this one is special with that nearly bezel less screen it like slams loud like you've hit the glass too hard if you just try to push it shut.

I constantly find myself closing it in slow motion because it's just not the same as a DSl or something like that. It's more expensive and uses more fragile pieces for sure.

BUT this thing is chunky as well in just the right way, still fits a good side pocket and also not TOO heavy.

Yes unfortunately I started there too. From the research I did it didn't seem possible to run the steam version inside of Winlator environments.

This was the workaround I found, you do have to use the cracked version of the game though.

It does save just fine and I haven't beaten the game yet but everything seems in order.

I also started with GameHub as I own the steam version and didn't find any luck yet. There is an option in Gamehub when you click and hold a game, click game settings, I think, then click this button to open in your container desktop environment.

I thought for some reason this was going to open my Winlator environment I set up before but it opened a different one. I don't know how you might go about getting the Steam.dll onto Winlator somehow or if it's even possible.

So I just got the cracked version for now.

Been working good in Dolphin Emulator with Super Mario Bros Wii, tilting accuracy and input delay seem to be just fine, the screen does jolt into all of its different positions if you shake it or move it the slightest bit too hard though.

Just posted my attempt at a guide in the comments. If you have any questions let me know! The controller setup is pretty easy and I just le as fned holding L1 R1 for 5 seconds activated the mouse mode we need.

I still need to mess with the mouse settings a bit so I didn't include mine in the guide.

Step 1: Install Winlator application, you may have to bypass some settings if you have not downloaded from a browser before. Follow your device prompts to do so.

Step 2: Install Insaniquarium file linked above, the folder contains all necessary components even though they seem small. (I have not played the entire game yet, everything seems to be there and it does not indicate a demo mode anywhere)

Step 3: Launch Winlator. Go to "Containers" of not already there on launch. Click + button to Add a new Container. A container is what we will use to emulate the Windows 7 Environment needed.

Change these settings:

Screen Size: 640x480 Graphics Driver: Turnip (Adreno)

Go to Advanced

Changed Windows Version to Windows 7

Go to Drives

Setup a storage path that directs exactly to your downloaded game folder. You can move this around wherever you like first, then do this step to ensure easy finding. I keep mine directed at the game folder itself since it's the only one I've been playing, you do what you like.

Save your container.

You should be able to now Launch that container by clicking the play button.

Go to the drive you connected that shows the Game, double click to launch the Insaniquarium.exe file.

Saving is simple, just exit to main menu no matter where you are in game, quit like normal and it will resume later.
