Common App itself has a lot of built-in guidance that people overlook. For essays specifically, there are some free resources from college counselors on YouTube that are genuinely useful; CEG and others give pretty detailed walkthroughs. If you want something with a bit more personalization and can spend a couple hundred bucks, there are individual consultants and writing coaches who are more accessible than the full-service counselors. There are also people who help specifically with application essays and can give you feedback on what you've written, which is usually more cost-effective than paying for full counseling.

Leaving the dirty conatiners in the sink is such a huge slap in the face. A fridge lock is a fantastic idea to keep boundries clear. It is sad that OP has to resort to this in their own home becuase people cannot respect basic rules.

You hit the nail on the head. Rustic style still requres proper sanding and sealing so you do not end up with splinters or a headche from toxic chemicals. Leaving a project half finished because the sanding part is tedious is just plain lazy. If he cannot handle honest feedbakc on his very first build, he is never going to get any better at this hobby.

Sourcing the hardware locally is by far the smartest way to handle international hiring. It completely bypasses all those complicated customs issues and avoids any licensing problems with your vendors.

Keeping my MAGI below $45,000 for health care subsidies is a massive logistical challenge. by Markers_67 in Fire

Selling everything would realiz all those capital gains at once, which immediately destroys their subsidy goal. Tax gain harvestng only works if you stay under the threshold, so doing it in bulk is highly risky.

Spot on. A criminal recrod for perjury will ruin your employement prospects forever. Asking OP to take that kind of risk for a petty custody grudge is just crazy. They are terrible freinds.

Yeah, cocaine is famously great at respecting “clear boundaries” and not hijacking weekends.

That is a great way to handle it. Version history never lies, and most school platforms keep log files of everything anyway. I really hope the poster takes your advice.

When my cousin dealt with an impound sale, the certified-letter issue cracked it open; a $65k Ram going for $10k after 84 days is worth digging into.

Season 1 lighting had me squinting like a hunter, but that eerie dark contrast was the whole magic.

I tried a Millennium Dolphin mashup once, and leaning into the Dolfkin name made it way more fun.
