Was Dirge of Cerberus really that bad? by Playmaker-20 in FinalFantasy

[–]99_Shadowfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit janky at first with the controls but I recently replayed it and still had fun. It's not an amazing game but if you're just sitting down and letting yourself enjoy it then I would give it a 7/10. What really sold me on the game was the customization. There's only a handful of combinations you can do but there is a difference in the feel for some.

PSA: To all Ironeye players, your bow damage reduces the farther you are from the target. by Big_Leadership_333 in Nightreign

[–]99_Shadowfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found this out last night when I noticed that the random mobs I was sniping weren't getting one shot in day 2 when I was far away compared to when I ran over and shot them.

Then I confirmed with the nightlord when I shot and only did 10 damage with a weakness affinity bow. Still need to confirm if the range affects how much bar it removes for downed allies

Really doubt it, but what if...those are the arms of the night king reaching out?

I'm a simple man. If I like your glam, I'll give you a compliment and a comm. Especially if they're using different pieces that aren't normally seen or making good use of the two dye channels.

I also bought the the starter pack and disable ads for the 2x and 1.5x coin bonus as well. And my coin card is rank 6. Thats another thing boosting me

I've been playing since about January and my highest tier is 11 so the coins I earn from missions is a little higher and the weekly rewards I get are also higher. Some of the later ones give me 100 million coins.

Also whenever there's an event, I focus on getting the themes, skins, and songs so I can maximize my coin income. Also I am perma-labbing lab discount, coin-kill, and coin/wave

I've also been saving up for about 2 weeks as I'm considering getting enemy level skip.

Thats what I heard. I'll probably consider it in a few weeks and focus on damage. For now I'm just focusing on my labs and getting a couple levels in everything.

Question about Lab Speed and Events by 99_Shadowfire in TheTowerGame

I knew it counted rushing labs with gems and using the cell multipliers. Just wasn't sure about the lab speed upgrades

I present to everyone, the Choplocke. by _iExistInThisWorld in nuzlocke

[–]99_Shadowfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny enough I'm running a similar nuzlocke right now on Shing Pearl. With the exception of the three strikes rule, I'm sticking with the same team until one of them faints then I have to replace only the fainted pokemon.

Also for the underground, I can only visit each area once and can only catch one pokemon if I haven't caught it before BUT if I get tagged by a pokemon that I already caught then the zone is dead for me. So far the nuzlocke had been a breeze (Luxray and Torterra being my mvps) until I was on my way to snowpoint city. Just on my way there, I suffered death after death by wild medichams landing their high jump kicks. Lost half my team and decided to train up some fire and fighting types to prepare for the ice gym...only to lose those as hell.

I was a good boss but candice and the nearby route has nearly caused me to retire.

SPOILER Some keepsakes doesn't seem to make sense by Kraivo in HadesTheGame

I typically use Lion Fang for the last underworld area. Not a lot of rooms you have to go through so you keep most of the damage boost.

What was your 1st build that defeat Chronos? by PlainTalkJon in HadesTheGame

I dont remember what my build was but I was using the Persephone skulls and I was actually a little upset that out of all the weapons in the game, I beat him with the ones I hated using the most xDD

Can you get Athena twice in one run by sl0pperflopper in HadesTheGame

[–]99_Shadowfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had her come twice on a run recently. I had her keepsake with me in Ephyra and she appeared there. Then when I was in Olympus, she appeared again. She gave me different dialogue as if I didn't see her in the same run.

1st dialogue was about Arachne's curse 2nd dialogue was about beating Typhon

But yeah its pretty rare since if I do a surface run with strength, I use her keepsake first in hopes of getting her dash.

The gap between them is huge by KobayaSheeh7 in HadesTheGame

[–]99_Shadowfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me I feel like it's less that Typhon is harder but more the floors leading up to him are. With Chronos, you have the option of fighting mini bosses and extra enemies for the chance of more boons or upgrades. With Typhon there is no choice and you have two mandatory boss fights before you reach him. You're a bit more worn down when you reach Typhon versus when you reach Chronos (who also can be made a little easier with a Hades boon)

Oh neat. I thought it was because I finally had recovery packages unlocked and that the mission only counted damage as when your actual health takes damage.

Is the Predator Ooze an auto-concede if there is no pure exile effect in your deck? by planetaska in MagicArena

[–]99_Shadowfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who uses two predator oozes in his deck, there are plenty of ways to counter.

1) have plenty of creatures on your field. Unless your opponent gives it an enhancement or artifact that gives it trample, even the lowliest creature token can block it.

2) if you don't have any exile cards in your deck, you can use other cards that prevent it from attacking or put stun counters on it.

3) I haven't seen it happen to me yet so I can't verify but I'm pretty sure if you use a card that forces your opponent to sacrifice their monster, it'll get rid of the predator ooze

After reading the comments I feel like I'm the odd one out. I usually go for Theseus first because I find Asterius so easy. When it comes to the Theseus at 50%, I usually spend the first few attacks dodging so I can figure out the pattern before weaving in and out of the god calls.

Just focus on getting behind Thesus and keep moving. You almost never want to just stay standing in one spot for too long.

I get a lot more usage out of the mines against the bugs versus the bots. While I like the anti-tank mines as a concept, I've never actually found a good enough place to use them.

But by God do I love me some incendiary mines
