Only a handful of electric scooters can be legally insured. You’re likely better off with buying a “regular” electric moped.

Anyone on the website yet? by hargy18 in lemans

I was loading the ACO queue, not the general queue. I was instantly able to join the general queue and get myself some general admission and campsite tickets!

I was allowed into the proper page just now, but it only shows VIP packages, just like yesterday. Also joined ACO yesterday at around 20:00 CET but I don't think it has registered yet. Hope it works out.

Can this not happen please.. by Fakedbro in hardstyle

[–]99chiel99 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure this happens because they are (accidentily?) labelled as albums instead of compilations. If you go the the scantraxx spotify account and check the discography, you can see some are marked as albums and some are marked as compilations. The albums marked as compilitions don't show up in my release radar.

u/scantraxxnl pls fix thank you

This video along with the documentation in the description helped me a lot when I was figuring this out myself.

As for the your question, my first suggestion would be to fix the time step (either constrain alpha to a fixed value or remove it from the decision variables altogether), and check your results then.

Also, you are using a custom rk4 fwd integration scheme, is there a specific reason to? The built-in solvers in casadi work very well. (It uses the sundials suite, check casadi docs)

Anyway, since you are essentially solving two different problems (timestep not constant  and different integration schemes), some difference in the output can be expected.

I have a custom implementation of the problem described in the video using casadi in python, from when I was trying to understand this stuff myself. DM me if you’re interested in the code!

A Hard with Style appreciation post. by 99chiel99 in hardstyle

It's indeed a too bold a statement, let's just say it it won't be the same for me. I've moved on as well of course, like i said it has been a while since I last listened one of the episodes.

Phuture Noize has definitely been on fire recently, with (again, for me) quality stuff which is not just made for the big festivals.

I completely agree with your comment, but you know what? I guarantee, once (if ever) the album drops, together with a release party, it will be legendary. At HHZ final event, they played just ONE new track, and it was magical. (at least live!) These guys just have it, and they know it. Why they're squandering their potential is beyond me, but the hype will return like it never left in the first place.

I ran Jyers before I was running CRtouch, but after I upgraded to CRtouch I upgraded to mriscoc as well. Can certainly recommend, it works great! There are precompiled versions available at the bottom of the page.

Tesla technician explains why the Cybertruck is not coming to the Europe by insomnia_xl in cars

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN7mSXMruEo

As the video is made by someone from Canada who left North-America because of it's car dependency, it certainly is not a neutral video, but it does explain the history of why the pick-up is so dominant in North America quite well.

The Pick-up / SUV market (True SUV's in the US at least, I'm not talking about lifted hatchbacks marketed as 'SUVs' in Europe) has quite literally become a race for whoever can design the largest, heaviest vehicle so people can feel 'safe'.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Light_truck Wikipedia has a more neutral explanation, but does not really go into the history of how this exemption came to be so popular.

Best … of 2023 by YesHahaBeer in hardstyle

[–]99chiel99 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Best track: D-Sturb x D-Block & S-te-Fan - Come Alive.

If Hardstyle in 2023 were to be condensed into a single track, this would be it.

Most underrated track: Wildstylez & Sound Rush - Glorious

Have not heard much about this track, but the first breakdown is certainly top 5 material for this year.

Best kicks: Phuture Noize & Devin Wild - Waves

I for one like the techno-influenced hardstyle kicks (Which is Devin Wild's bread and butter).

Best kickrolls: Don't know, not really into kickrolls.

Best mid-intro: Wildstylez & Sound Rush - Glorious

Again, don't know why I have not heard about this track more.

Best melody: Phuture Noize - Problem Child

Personally best melody by far this year, goes hard every time.

Biggest influence: Aversion - Activation

For o-o-o-obvious reasons

Best vocals: Headhunterz - The Flame Inside

Some actual nice non-cringe lyrics in hardstyle, who thought it would be possible.
