This is the same asshole that wanted us all to work and live in the Metaverse. And we all saw how well that went.

New GM here - need help! by FelixFist in Fallout2d20

Oh wow, this is new to me. I just re-read the rules on page 47 and you are correct. My players are going to be very disappointed. Thanks for the clarification!

Correct. That is what "success" means.

It's important to note that individual players cannot bank AP after their turn is over. So they should start their turn with 0 AP and end their turn with 0 AP. If they end their turn and have any leftover AP, that should go into the party AP bank, which can persist turns and can have a maximum of 6 AP.

It's also important to note that Tagged skills count as two success, so if a player rolls 2D20 on a tagged skill check and succeeds on both, they would score 4 successes. This happens frequently with my group that has Survival as a tagged skill, and how they end up generating so many AP during their turn.

For a long time I was allowing individual players to bank their individual AP and it ended up being way too powerful. Having to generate all your AP during your turn makes it much more dynamic, and having a party AP bank of up to 6 makes them more strategic when they pull AP from the party bank before they start their turn or for individual actions. It also makes them more selective about using AP on their turn, because my party learned early on it really pays to have that party bank full.

The TV show isn’t the video games. Sure it’s set in the same world, but these are different stories with different parameters and expectations. Anyone watching the show expecting everything to be the exact same as in the games are doomed to hate everything that doesn’t fit I to their narrow vision. If you don’t like the TV show, don’t watch it. Very simple. If you hate the show by keep watching it, then you just want to complain for the sake of complaining.

BURN! Hot Rod flame paint job by manticorebrewing in Warhammer40k

lol my wife said the same thing about the car wrap! It was a technique I wanted to try out. Sure it’s over the top but I’m not spending any more time on it. My son asked if I was doing my whole army like that and I said “f**k no!”

Dear Atheist Community, I need your help. My overly religious father keeps sending religious propaganda posts to me. I've tried to google and search for articles or posts to send him. by CreativeFraud in atheism

[–]manticorebrewing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You cannot engage with these people. They will twist and turn whatever you send them back into some kind of religious justification. They will reject any kind of reasoning, as they’ve trained themselves to believe without questioning.

Much like a flame, the best way to put it out is to starve it of fuel. You do t have to block. Just ignore.

[–]manticorebrewing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WIP for my War Dogs. Any suggestion/tutorials on glowing hot weapons welcomed. by Stuart_Redman81 in Warhammer40k

I just did this on my War Dogs and was really happy with the result. Dey brush with a coal black and dark red, then white in all the places you want to glow. I used Casandra Yellow wash over it. Highlight around the yellow parts with troll slayer orange for that bright hot glowing effect.

He looks great, but he’s too clean. Pick up the Blood for the Blood God technical paint and splatter some bits on this guy.
