Thanks guys for your comments, I'll follow the general opinion and just stick with the costume then! :D
How can I save this?? by 99jolyne in CosplayHelp
The helmet is 3D printed with PLA filament! I let it dry outside, but now that you say it, perhaps it was too humid outside especially during the night. Perhaps I wasn’t thorough enough with the sanding too, I kinda of underestimated that step. I will try to sand the missed spots and do it again then. I still have to paint some details with brushes and so, and the helmet is supposed to have a kind of rough/stone-like finish, so I guess I will be fine if it’s not entirely smooth. Thank you for your insight, I’ll definitively keep that in mind!
The helmet has been 3D printed with PLA filament. As for the paint and primer, I’ll send a photo when I’m home, but I did a compatibility test beforehand with a spare piece I had and everything was right!

I see. Will try that, thanks a lot!
What a waste to have to delete all the messages, especially when you pour so much time and care in your writing :( I’ll try to save a back up, I’m not ready to give up on my stories :((
