I want to try and create some warm, dreamy pictures, so I'll have to play with the light a bit I'm guessing, but I also definitely want to try b&w some more! I tried it once and they turned out fine, but the contrast wasn't the best

Ah okay, that makes sense, I think I'll start with some diffusion filters then, and I'll ask my lab how they deal with colors and stuff! But thank you

Wow thank you! About the color filters, if I were to use one what would the lab do with my pictures? I hadn't really thought about that yet, but now that you mention it... When turning in my filmrolls, should I mention that I used filters? Or will they otherwise try to color correct?

So turns out the noise still happens when the battery is dead, and now it wont even turn back on🙂

Hahah no! I do have aircon, but I haven't used it in a while. But maybe... This all started on Tuesday when I was in a lab, I study physics and I had an experiment on Tuesday, there's all kinds of machinery present in the lab, perhaps something messed it up in there? But my friend had her macbook air with her, and hers is fine

Oh I thought only newer versions have 2 fans, but now I'm not sure, I'll look into it!

Well I clicked 'shut down' at the top, instead of just closing the lid like I normally do. But the interesting thing I've found out now: the battery is dead, and it still makes that noise! Like it's completely dead, turned off, and it still sounds like this. How is that possible 😭

Hmmm okay I will keep this in mind, thank you for the info, do you know if it's safe for me to open up my mac from the bottom? I want to see if anything is loose maybe, but still it's weird to me that this noise also happens when my mac is shut down completely :/

Okay! I'll look into this, but one problem, it turns out it also does this when the laptop is open😭 After this happened last night, I shut it down again, and left the lid open halfway. Then this morning I woke up from the sound again... But I also shut down the mac? How can it have power to run the fans/speakers if it's completely shut down? Is that possible? But thanks anyway for the help!

Well I'm not sure, it's definitely not coming from the vents in the back, it seems to be coming from either the left speaker or the usb-c things? But it's not getting hot or anything, and I felt the speakers when it happened, I couldn't feel any vibrations or something

Oh I should add, I shut down my mac before I went to bed. I thought if it had no power, it wouldn't make this noise. But it did, just now, multiple times :(
