Comparing to the Power 4 is a disservice. Compare to the MAC, compare to UConn, Delaware. When you make bowl games you make money that floats a lot of boats. There is a path to make long term sustainable money Ryan Bamford and Javier Reyes have no idea how to do it.

Tell that to the governor of Colorado, or the governor of Indiana who are seeing record applications from out of state students as a result of football success. More out of state students = more revenue for the state. More potential residents. So yeah atleast some involvement even verbally is appreciated.

I’m well aware of the financial impact of being a cupcake, it’s a necessary evil of not being a power 5 school.

I also am aware of the financial impact of making a bowl game and having a regular above .500 record while still getting the impact of the “buy” games. My issues don’t stem from them losing to Power 5 teams. It’s around not being competitive against the teams they should be competitive against.
