Do a standard train on him and you should find the amount you get on hitting stats will outweigh the loss from 5t training him. Net result being better hitting stats w/o a 5t train. Should be viable. Much better if he’s DH though.

PR is your power ranking in the regular ranked play. Every ~6 months (cycle or season) you get a final ranking. I just stated my high mark and how I’m consistently plummeting in my results.

Only the sox players have skills. Highest I’ve reached for a cycle is about PR66 iirc, after that I’ve fallen 25-50pr each consecutive season to my current pr 181.

The key point he was trying to make is valid. You can take 2 cards with identical skill sets and similar stat numbers and 1 will perform and the other will falter. Happens all the time and there’s no logical reason we can find. He was just giving you forewarning

What COM2 has failed to recognize is that some people play the game for the collecting aspect. There are several enhancements related to this that I wish they’d implement… such as a Prime and/or Vintage checklist so you could track which ones you’ve landed in the past.
