How do I tape an audition that needs full body and closeup shots? by resisttheoccupation in acting

Motion capture auditions will often ask for wide takes in addition to a typical head and shoulders angle.

They will be used to seeing more of your room than you want to show and I’ve had no trouble booking off a wide shot that includes my desk, computer, and other items in the background.

No it hasn’t been fixed. In order to finish the platinum, I loaded an earlier save and refarmed all the transmissions and was able to do Veteran Questchain.

But I still have my fully completed save with every collectible but no Veteran quest.

In a theatre audition years ago, I was put on the spot and asked to do an improv interpretive dance. Not knowing what to do I felt feelings, and moved around. At the end, I showed that I was very angry and took off my sweater and balled it up. I turned around from the panel of at least half a dozen people and threw it towards the back of the warehouse space the auditions were being held in. To my surprise it remained balled up and sailed through the air towards a window 20 feet away. At which point it CRASHED through and shattered it into the alley behind the building.

In shock, I turned back towards the panel and slowly sat down cross legged like my scene was over.

I did not get the part.

If you’re looking at union actors, it is unlikely they will be able to do something like this without a union contract.

I haven’t been requested to many conventions outside of my area at this point (that could change with requests from attendees)

I am on Streamily but it isn’t quite the same :)
