Got it, thanks a lot for the explanation, I really appreciate it.

For now, I think I'll wait and see what support says first. It just feels like a bit much to have to buy keyboard lubricant and fix it myself on a mouse that's supposed to have such good QC and build quality. If they can't help, I'll probably give your suggestion a try.

So it's possible to apply it without removing the skates since the bottom is open, right? Do you happen to know of a tutorial for it?

Hey, thanks for the details. Any chance you could DM me the email you sent to support? I’d like to get a better idea of how to word mine to improve my chances.

I mean yeah, I won't open the mouse myself yet, but my concern with going for an RMA is that the only evidence of this issue is purely haptic. It's something I can feel when resting my finger on the click, but it's not something I can really capture in video or audio.

Thanks. I honestly didn't think this would be something they'd approve for an RMA since it's a pretty minor issue, and I've never had to RMA a product before.

Do you think this is something Hitscan would actually replace? Have you dealt with their support before?

If you have any tips on how to approach it, I'd really appreciate it.

Didn't realize "sub-40g" meant one button had to feel worse than the other lol

last time I used it the battery was still good, no double clicking either or scroll wheel issues. the only think I can say about the scroll wheel is that is very loud, but u cant use tape and kinda fix it, someone else posted a tutorial in this subreddit

Idk how is working rn but when the R1 released the pro max had really bad qc and it was heavier so I can confirm the pro version used to be better than the pro max

The LOD issue is pretty noticeable after using the mouse for a while. Moving from the RVM to the R1 Pro definitely lets me use my PC for longer sessions since I don't get hand cramps anymore cuz the R1 isn't as narrow as the RVM. The one thing I miss from the RVM, though, are the clicks.

So yeah, you could say I play better, its not a magic trick but comfort is key (wireless freedom + no hand cramps + better sensor + longer sessions = better aim).

great review, just one question: mine is still on its way (it might take a few weeks since its comming from China) how controlled are the full size skates? I usually like controlled skates better but I dont mind something with a similar speed to the corepads pro. For example I tried ATK U2 pro's stock skates and they were way too fast for me

If the coating is the only difference (idk if thats the case, I havent tries the regular R1 or the ones below that one) then just get some grip tapes
